We stayed at the Hotel Amira for 5 nights. Everything was perfect. Beautiful suite with a balcony, super comfy bed and lots of thoughtful touches. The staff on the desk and restaurant were incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. They were able to recommend places to go, transport and restaurants which we wouldn't otherwise have visited. We were sorry to leave and would have no hesitation recommending the hotel.
Check in was quick and efficient. Front desk loaned out umbrellas when it rained and gave me a box bandaids when I developed a blister. Breakfast had made-to-order gozleme. 10 min walk to Hagia Sophia. Room was clean and had free bottles of water. Wifi crashed a few times and occasional street noise from vendors (my room was street level). Overall, a good stay. Booked private airport transfer for 100 euros round trip.
One of best Hotel in the city. Highly recommended. The best part of this hotel is their breakfast, you cannot get that much of varieties anywhere else in the city. I would be visiting this hotel again for sure ………… 10 stars for their service and hospitality
My wife and I along with another couple stayed at this hotel in January 2023. Hotel Amira is an absolute gem. Great location within walking distance ( albeit uphill ) to most attractions and plenty of local shops in the very near vicinity. What really makes this hotel special was the staff. I haven’t got individual names because they were all outstanding. Always willing to provide information and advice as to where to go, what to see and where to eat. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were very clean and of a good size with plenty of room to place suitcases and move around. The only one small negative was you had to climb into the bath for a shower. It was manageable but I could imagine some people having difficulty. Overall we found this Hotel to be outstanding and would have no problem recommending a stay here. Hopefully we will be back to Istanbul and we would definitely stay at Hotel Amira again.…
The staff was absolutely wonderful: helpful and friendly, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was easy and comfortable, helping with phones, flights, transferring rooms and currency since we had to stay longer than planned. They arranged an exceptional tour for us with a guide who exceeded all expectations. Breakfast was delicious and bountiful. Rooms were clean and pleasant. Central location made sightseeing easy. Delightful atmosphere overall. I've travelled often and this place was one of my very favorites. Highest recommendation.
Our family of 5 (3 teenagers at that) stayed here from Christmas to New Year. The entire staff from Sam, Zafer, another chap who's name escapes me now, were all splendid and thoughtful in their suggestions and answers. The breakfast was a highlight of course and the perfect way to begin our daily adventures. We already miss Turkey and to have a discovered a new country and region while staying at Hotel Amira which felt like home away from home could not have been better.
Beautiful hotel, great location with excellent service and best staff ever! We highly recommend it, especially to visit the old part of the city. They are extremely helpful with all the tips for restaurants and tours. Perfect stay.

I can't say enough positive things about our stay at Hotel Amira. We visited Istanbul with our two kids, 7 and 13. The care that was provided from the time we checked and to the time we checked out was outstanding. The hotel is kept very clean, the staff always greeted us with a smile, and quick response to any requests. Every morning we walked are way to breakfast downstairs. Ender, who greeted us every morning with a smile and took care of us like family. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a family oriented, well maintained, friendly environment, and a perfect location then book at Hotel Amira. Will definitely stay here again.
Good location to see all the local highlights. The fantastic staff were always happy to help with any questions & were genuinely happy to have a chat & ask about your day. Marvellous breakfast with amazing honey!
