Agora Life Hotel is close to main downtown attractions. The hotel staff is extremely friendly, giving all information we need. As promised and “advertised”, the view from our window was great. We could see Hagia Sophia and the sunrise over it was special. We’ve been to some restaurants with beautiful views, but the view from the terrace was the best...

My wife, daughter and I stayed at the Agora Life Hotel for one week. If we return to Istanbul, we will definitely stay there again. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and great to work with. It is on a quiet street in the heart of the historic part of the city. The breakfasts...

We highly recommend this gem of a hotel - small, personal, excellently managed and very well run. The rooms are lovely, quiet and comfortable, the buffet breakfasts offer plentiful choices, the staff, very attentive, but the roof top terrace - oh the rooftop terrace! From the roof we would start our mornings with coffee, and end up there in the...

This hotel is one of the best I have been. I was here with my aunt. The hotel is located ideally, a lot of sightseeing places, the big bazaar, but also cute nice restaurants. The hotel staff were lovely, they helped us out with everything we asked. The hotel is gorgeous, nice light rooms, an awesome rooftop terras and absolutely...

I spend 4 terrific days in Istanbul with my niece. Agora Life Hotel made our trip just perfect. We had a nice and light room, with a good bathroom. Breakfast was very complete. They have a magnificent roofterrace with view over Istabul. We had our breakfast here every morning, but we also used it to relax and see Istanbul by...

We spent 3 nights at the Agora Life. It already has a certificate of excellence from Trip Advisor and our experience certainly justified that. The room was everything one might require – spacious, light and comfortable and everything worked. The breakfasts were great. The manager was a lovely man and extremely helpful. The hotel has a terrace with a magnificent...

2 miserable nights. Very small lobby with busy reception--they would be wise to close the open door to the busy street t make the small area peaceful.Tiny "deluxe?double"--no place for our suitcases; no sitting area; unlit small desk with no power outlet for computer;feeble wall air conditioner which would never be adequate in hot weather--air intake filthy; poor sound proofing;...

Dear Guest, We value any feedfack given for Agora Life. All reviews written for our hotel has been analyzed seriously by hotel management and each of review helped to fix missing points. We found above review helpful at some points but unfair in many way too. Istanbul is city of 17 millions people. It makes hard to be on time...

This was a very nice hotel, modern and very centrally located to the city center and all of the tourist sites. The hotel is clean and very well kept with a nice continental breakfast selection. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. What I would like to also note is that upon my arrival the hotel went above and beyond...

The staff is extremely helpful and welcoming -- five stars if not many more. The location is superb -- on a very quiet, safe street yet only two minute walk to the heart of the tourist area (Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, etc.)-- again 5 stars. And the view from the roof garden over the Golden Horn, where you can enjoy...

In the end of August I went with my best friend to discover Istanbul. Earlier my freind was there and she had a very nice opinion about this hotel. The staff were very helpful and kindly. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Also i think the price value for money is corresponding. Thank you for this memorable few days :)

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
