Villa Pasha was a great hotel to be in, the atmosphere was calm and peaceful away from the city centre and it had good local shops nearby, I strongly recommend people to go to this hotel. The staff were nice and pleasant too. They gave breakfast which was top quality.

This hotel is just behind the blue mosque. 2 min walking from the historical center. Rooms are good, staff is welcoming and always ready to answer your questions. Beds are comfortable. Transfer to airport possible via them for 50 tl. Just one thing : very noisy for the rooms on first floor.

Small quaint apartment type accommodation. Clean room and bathroom although the beds do not get made during the time we spent there (2 days). Very basic included a breakfast which was served at the restaurant below.

We had booked this room for 4 nights but left after 1 night. My daughter and I were both sick from all the mold. The bathroom was so dirty my daughter was afraid to go in it. Just disgusting. Check in by matter of fact man with no name tag. No accountability when I complained of mold and dirty room....

The little sweet boutique hotel in historic Sultanahmet district was exactly what me and my husband needed. Walking distance from Sultanahmet mosque and other sights if you are there to explore this part of Istanbul. Hotel with a character, well-decorated rooms with little thought-through details. Amazingly friendly staff ready to accommodate any of your wish ( within reasonable limits of...

Firstly, finding the place was a nightmare. There was no signage for the hotel other than on the inconspicuous random door at the foot of a staircase. When I got to the reception I expressed my concern regarding there being no signage for the hotel and explaining that it was difficult to find - particularly when I was carrying all...

If you expect good food in a friendly enviroment, with a lot of smiling faces this is a place that you have to visit. The staff can even help you with booking of tours around the Istanbul. The only thing that I can say about the rooms is to avoid those next to the reception. Cuz they can be kind...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
