Small guesthouse in heart of the Sultanahmet, and yes you can hear prayer early morning but you are in Istanbul. We were in private double bead room which was clean and big enough. In the morning we heard people going in the restaurant for the breakfast since house is with wooden floors but it was bearable. WiFi was working great... More

I admit I was a little nervous about staying in a hostel after a mediocre experience at another hostel a year earlier. However, the overwhelming positive reviews were encouraging and I wanted to meet folks. I am pleased to report that the guesthouse was wonderful. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed in the 8 bed female... More

My friend and I stayed in an 8 bed female dorm and found it to be really clean and comfortable. The common area is really nice, you're allowed to bring your own food and drinks and there is a gorgeous view from the terrace! The staff were really friendly and helpful and I'd definitely go back

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
