Not close to the turist sites but these ones can be easily reached thru public transportation during day-light. At night it is located where you should be to save taxi fares. Free WiFi Internet in all floors.

I stayed in Hotel Residence for 5 nights in October. I was attending a conference in Lufti Kirdar Congress Centre (next to Hilton Conference Centre). Had been to istanbul twice before but this is my first time staying in Taksim, previously stayed in Sultanahmet.
