The rooms are huge as are the bathrooms. Very comfortable hotel, only 10 or 12 rooms with elevator. The breakfast is very good, with eggs and hot drinks made to order, cereal, lots of fruits and vegetables, yogurt, etc. The view from the rooftop terrace where the breakfast is served is amazing, you see the old city and the bosphorus....

Have traveled all around the globe and this may be one of my favourite hotels ever. Large, beautiful, luxurious rooms with the intimacy of a boutique hotel. Phenomenal breakfast and service. Outstanding location. Felt truly at home here - did not want to leave! Highly highly recommend.

This hotel is great. It is very comfortable and convenient. If you want to spend good time in comfortable suites, you should go here. The staff is friendly. One of the most important thing, they speak English well. I visited several hotels in Istanbul, but I am very glad that my previous stay was in Tomtom. Manager at the reception...

Good location just slightly off istiklal street. This is a boutique hotel and the staff made us feel like they know us personally. From knowing what we'd like for breakfast to arranging the bf's surprise birthday cake and complimentary wine, everything was perfect :)

All the staff were very friendly and so happy to help us with any queries. The breakfast is served in a lovely room on the 4th floor with fantastic views overlooking the city. When we arrived we...

What a find! Great central location, lovely building with lots of character. The rooms are huge and luxurious. The restaurant (Nicole's) serves a great breakfast with super attentive staff and one night we had the tasting menu which was outstanding (Nicole's is highly rated in its own right). Lovely views from the 4th floor as you eat. The staff could...

Tomtom Suites is an extremely smart boutique hotel located in a quiet area. We were given suite 35. It was fabulous. Seldom have I felt so comfortable and relaxed in a hotel. It was hard to leave it. Karakoy is a chic area. I would have loved more time to explore it. It is within walking distance of the hotel...

This hotel was a great find. Well located with very good personalised service. The pics do not do justice to the rooms. I was in room 35 and it was huge. High ceilings, plenty of storage space. A large entrance foyer and sitting area. It's well located and beautiful decorated in a simple style. Just wonderful. I will definately go...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
