Pro 1. The hotel is perfectly located: just in 5 minutes to Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, and tram stop. However it’s very easy to miss hotel for the first time: the building is pretty small, its entrance is hided by cafe at the ground floor. 2. Stuff was nice and friendly. Contra 1. Our double room was small, dark, and...

Very central location...on a vibey street, near to minimarket for water and basic neccecities. Ask for street facing room - so that you can look down on life happening below you - a restaurant with music below makes you feel part of İstanbul. Very close to Aya Sofya and Blue mosque - so close it feels like the Imam is...

I stayed here only one night. Although one night, the staff soooo kind to me, I could get some kindness more than the room charge I paid. If I could come Istanbul again, I'll stay here again! Suffice it to say that, stairs are narrow. I past someone on stairs difficultly.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
