We stayed here in October 2015 for a sightseeing holiday in Istanbul. The receptioinsts were always friendly and open to offer advise or help. The room was tiny but clean - perfect for a budget stay! The breakfast is served on the nice little balcony on the top - it was always plenty and offered wide range of choice for...

When we arrived, we were met by Esra, the lovely lady at the reception. She made the check in fast (although we had to wait a bit because there were guests who checked in also ahead of us). Our family room was large enough with a fridge and 3 beds but no table (only two dressers). As a word of...

The hotel is near the Sultanahmet Square where most of the tourist attractions can be seen. I find the room very comfortable and the price is reasonable. The staff was very accommodating and very helpful in giving tips. They will take care of you from the moment you stepped in at their hotel until you're bound for your flight home.

The hotel is located in the Sultanahmet area of the old city of Istanbul in a side street of Akbiyik Caddesi. It is a relatively small budget hotel with no elevator, but clean and comfortable rooms with aircontintioning. For elderly people with knee problems, the stairs would be difficult to manage since they are relatively high and turning. The standard...

I would definitely recommend this lovely place and will be back with pleasure! Perfect location, cosy rooms with all necessary (safety box, fridge, hairdryer), amazing terrace where you can enjoy free coffee and tea anytime, contemplating over the Bosphorus or the Blue Mosque. But the biggest asset of this place is their staff!!! Extremely attentive, they pay attention to every...

The hotel is Located very near the blue mosque and Ayasofya. The staff is friendly and very forthcoming on things to do in the area. It certainly lives up to its high tripadvisor rating. The rooms are a bit small though - there's just about enough place for a bed and there's no lift ( though the staff help in...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.

“There's no elevator, so ask for a lower floor if you're looking to avoid stairs. We took a trip advisor's tip and asked for room 302, which worked our great! Also, the hotel's website offers a virtual tour that assists in requesting a room.”
