Best place we stayed in in Uzbekistan. A short ride to any of the sights and a 12 min walk to the metro. The hotel is clean, safe and very comfortable. We said at the Sayram Hotel in Oct 2011, having visited Samarkand and were flying out from Tashkent the next day. We took the train from Samarkand and the hotel was about 10 minutes drive from the train station in Tashkent. This was a very pleasant small hotel. This is an excellent choice for Tashkent. We had two stays at the beginning and end of a trip around Uzbekistan. Staff are friendly and efficient. Good breakfast. Rooms are super-clean and the shower has good water pressure. TV has several English channels. Free WiFi throughout the hotel. Only complaint is the lack of reading lights above or beside the...

Had a very nice stay in this boutique style hotel! The hotel is located in a quiet residential area just off the main sights of Tashkent. The rooms are very clean and nice.
