Situated in a nice, safe and sparkling area of Colombo with many restaurants and shops in the direct surroundings. Clean, spacious room with all the necessary amenities. Breakfast is buffet-style. Friendly staff (helpful with tuk-tuk drivers and transport arrangements (to/from airport) and after check-out I could even store my bags for another half a day in the hotel lobby so... More

We had booked in Taibah but as they were renovating we stayed in Zam Zam hotel about 5 min away. The hotel was great. Very comfortable and clean rooms. The staff were very helpful. We ended up booking airport taxi from there. Very close to the beach and not too far from the city.

We arrived into Colombo for the last leg of our Sri Lanka trip. We booked this hotel for the close proximity to town and it also offered 2400Rs airport transfers. We pulled up out front the hotel to discover it had shut down for renovation, and advised potential guests to visit another hotel 5mins drive away. I don't understand!! If... More

We booked hotel taibah and we were upgraded to zamzam hotel which is located in a quite area, plus cloz to all major shopping spots. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and Mr Hamza makes sure that every need is fulfilled. Would recommend to any one.

First of all I want to say that the staff is nice and helpful, specially the young man who was at the front desk during the night. He is the only one who apologize for the inconvenience. I'm sorry, but the hotel isn't good. At first, we stayed in a room at the last floor, called Bentota room. The room... More

Mr. Hamsa, the man who runs the hotel was very understanding and helpful and his man-friday - Shankar, ensures that you have all you need to make the stay comfortable - water, tea/coffee and even runs errands for you to get food if need be. Location of this place is excellent and I spent many an evening walking on the... More

Sorry to say, but this wasn`t really a good place to stay. The staff I won`t say anything about, they were very helpful and kind, but the room was horrible. Nothing like the photos, which indicates a beautiful hotel. It was dirty, the walls and floors looked like a war zone and it had this horrendous industrial smell to it.... More
