The hotel provides a first-class service at prices significantly less than the city centre hotels. The fact that it is a few minutes’ drive from the city centre does not matter as you are never going to walk anywhere here! There is a free airport transfer service if needed. I will certainly be returning here on my next visit to Pakistan in a few weeks’ time. Staff From the General Manager, Mr. Banday, downwards all staff are friendly and efficient. They were also able to book me into the Best Western in Lahore for a one night stay there. Room As a Diamond for Life Member, I was upgraded to a magnificent suite which was as fully equipped as you would expect. Wi-Fi is very good most of the time. Food There is a good buffet breakfast. When numbers permit, there is also a buffet in the evening; there is also a good a la carte menu. I was able to use the Executive Lounge which provides sandwiches and hot “nibbles” during the day. Charging for the Room You should be aware that the norm in Pakistan is to charge for the full room costs when making the booking or when checking in – rather than when checking out. This does have the merit of leaving only food and expenses to cover when leaving but you do need to make sure you have access to the credit bill and can pay the original charge if on an extended stay. Minor Inconveniences The minor inconveniences are mostly outside of the control of the hotel. There were many children staying in the hotel and were occasionally running around and shouting loudly in the dining room and in the corridor late at night when I was trying to sleep. Whilst, it is hard for the hotel to control the actions of its guests, it could consider locating families with children on one floor/part of one floor - as much as possible - leaving the other areas for business guests who need peace and quiet! The other relating to the load-shedding problem. The hotel generators kicked in almost immediately on most occasions. The main inconvenience was if you were watching TV. This provided via the internet and after every cut in power required re-booting which takes a considerable period of time and is very annoying when watching cricket!!…
Best hotel in vicinity of capital islamabad. The environment is clean and superb. The rooms are good and well ventilated. The staff are very caring and helpful. There is smart tv on each room. I had difficulty in its operation so could not watch the news. The breakfast was simple and fresh.
