Overall good stay, sockets in room accommodate for all international travels first time seen these in a hotel, haven’t seen these in a 5* hotel. No issues with room, didn’t watch any TV but noticed every single channel was of a news station, very comfortable bed. Staff are extremely polite and keep asking how things are going, everyday drop off fruit and chocolates, which did eventually start to pile up but loved the gesture. Gym facilities were great, restaurant at top floor but was nice and would recommend garlic chicken had this a few times, tried the biryani was not very nice. Hotel tried to overcharge me for some amnesties I.e. bottles of water when they drop this off complimentary every day anyway but decided to charge on 2 occasions but didn’t think anything of it.
I strongly recommend legend hotel in Islamabad. The rooms are very well equipped and clean, the location is central and the staff is very helpful and professional. Especially m. Kamran who made sure we could get all the needed assistance!
I stayed here for a week. The place is nice, well maintained and reasonably priced. Food is excellent, and the staff are very professional. It is located within an area of Islamabad with many government offices, security not an issue here.
I booked a room, in person, at the hotel, had it confirmed by 2 different people on 2 different occasions. When I arrive for my stay they tell me no room was booked. And the hotel reservations personnel double checken in the system to double confirm. This hotel basically put my on the streets and didn't even want to pay the price difference with another hotel that did have available rooms. Worst experience ever.
Just had lunch here they have improved the food specially BBQ also we had Chinese. They also have roof top with dinner buffet which give a perfect environment The ambience is too good and the rooms are good for corporate trip.
Man. Let me get the restaurant off first. The service is attentive, though do not expect much English spoken. Buffet breakfast is to die for.. in the literal sense. If you like fruit or anything fruit looking you are in the wrong place on earth. After several months requesting for fruit or anything similar I was energetically turned down. What amazes me most is how everyday they would refuse to put fruit. Porridge is actually not bad. But after a while of porridge, french toasts and sausages i might never have my glucose levels back to anything normal. I have gone to the hospital- and although I'm currently fine, my quality of life has been reduced several decades. At dinner time, and this is important. the flavor of food is beyond abomination. You can actually taste and smell the filth of rodents and their offspring. There's is something just wrong about the flavor. Something unspeakable. Something dirty. After being a while in the hotel, I figured out the nice kitchen on top floor is not where they actually cook the food. Rather, they cook in a dingy and decadent alley underneath the parking lot behind burlesque lights. The first bites are tricked by the exorbitant amount of chili pepper only to realize, a few seconds later, that you might be eating something rotten. Regarding rooms, they are quite nice, with good aircon, good reliance on electricity, nice kettles, green tea, and very attentive service. From reception to house keeping. Except management. After leaving the hotel, i can only think of the nice things the world has and see the future with optimism.…
The property is relatively new and has a lot of teething problems - it is a great facility with a lot of potential but their human resource is willing to say and do anything to get you in the door - once in the door you realize tat attention to detail is not given and you also realize that the place needs a lot of work as far as its management goes - a few things one realizes is that everything is new but attention to detail is not given like the pipes never had the cement cleared from them so the bathrooms are new but flood when you shower - another harsh reality is that the wifi is weak and for the business traveller it becomes a bit of a problem as visitors to Islamabad come for business and or government work and is a city where guests need to be connected at all times as its the capital of Pakistan - you are better off at a hotel chain and paying that extra 20 dollars to get the services you need…
Got booked into the hotel on behalf of my company. Was apprehensive as most of the properties of this brand in other cities are very very old. My experience: This property is built in Dec 2015 so it is fairly nice with modern rooms. I would call it a "basic motel" rather than a 4 star hotel. You get clean new room, hot and cold water, a clean bathroom, TV and minibar but not more than that. I saw around 3 or 4 foreign guests so I guess the hotel is doing okay. Wi Fi: Available but not working. Location: Follow google maps. Its accurate. Hotel is hidden from main road and at the end of a very long lane. If you need a taxi, call a cab service. Local taxis wont be available here and they dont know the location either. There are 2 Ambassador hotels in Islamabad, they would mostly know the other location. Check In: Smooth, quick and easy. Zeeshan at front desk is very helpful. Room First Impression: Fresh fruit basket was provided on arrival and bottle of mineral water. Bathroom Clean. 2 closets with good space for storing clothes. 3 wall sockets for your chargers. 1 dirty telephone set. 1 prayer carpet. Room had good lighting and private small balcony (just to stand). Bathroom: Clean. Included 2 large towels, 2 small towels, basket with soap, shower gel, shaving kit (basic), toothbrush and toothpaste. Shower good and functioning although dripping water. Thankfully, there was toilet paper - a huge plus!! Dirty Bed: But the bad part was the bed sheet was dirty with black spots like someone's shoe prints. I asked to get it changed and the man who came in was very careless. He brought a fresh sheet which was also bearing black marks/dirt on it and he tried to hide it by putting it under the blanket side! So I had to get it changed again. To their positive credit, housekeeping persons arrived at the room within 5 minutes of calling. TV: large selection of local channels plus HBO, one other English channel, and a few sports channels (local). They had BBC and CNN but reception for these channels was VERY bad. Room Amenities: Chair, table, fruit basket, fridge. Chair was almost broken with loose back. Room Service: Tried tea and sandwiches, reasonable rates. Tea came in a pot (that held 2 servings). Sandwiches seemed strange half were fresh, other half were clearly stale bread. Serving size was good. Order arrived within 10 minutes. Restaurant: Only 1 rooftop restaurant is functional. Their dinner buffet was one rice dish, one dall, and one chicken. To their credit, food was well made but that doesnt excuse lack of options! Restaurant staff was non responsive and non cooperative. I had to take my own box of tissue from another empty table, get up to bring my own water bottle, etc. Cutlery was half clean half unclean. Plates were also mixed some clean and some with black spots and marks. Only 1 waiter Kashif was cooperative and served things to me at the table. Breakfast buffer was nice with continental/Pakistani mix dishes (around 5 or 6 items), coffee, tea, and orange juice. Staff at this time was also good. Lunch buffet was also good with 4 dishes, 2 salads, and 1 sweet option. Daytime staff was much better, polite, and cooperative. Staff: Some good, some bad. Mostly you will find inexperienced people who may be very enthusiastic and good (Zeeshan at reception and waiter Kashif) or very slow and rude. However, when I called to the reception or room service for any thing, it arrived quick enough within maximum 10 minutes (extra sheet, bathroom amenities, room service order, etc.) Overall: Its a fair enough motel in the middle of Islamabad overlooking Supreme Court and Serena. Suitable for the price of 1 or 2 night stay but dont expect a full hotel standard.…
