This Hotel is more suited to back packers rather than more senior travellers. One good point is that the position is great. Presidents Palace is a 10 mins walk and the Patuxai can be reached in 20 mins walk. I even walked to That Luang Stupa- 40 mins. Plenty of bars close by- now to the rest!! Wifi would only... More

First room we were given, was already occupied, not only embarrassing but we could have taken anything ! Next room had bed freshly made but no towels, someone had drunk the bottled water and left them empty on the side, whilst smoking in the bathroom and there were butt ends and ask in the sink and toilet. The 3rd room... More

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance from the main restaurants and shopping streets and the night market. Rooms are clean with a safe and fridge. However there is a major building being built right next to it and work starts at 6am so don't bank on getting a lie in. It goes on all day until 6pm... More

Spent four nights. Though in the relatively centre of town the hotel is off on a side street which gives it quite but accessible feel. The rooms are okay and staff okay. Breakfast is limited though as with other hotels on top floor does add a slight view that is relaxing. Front desk is helpful. The beds are nice and... More

We stayed here for one night before catching a flight the next morning after visiting a couple of areas of Laos. The hotel is located within walking distance of the night market and restaurants, but that's about the only thing it has going for it. We were given a room, and when we got up to it, the door was... We stayed here one night and that was more than enough. The room was hot (the a/c could not cool the room) and dirty. As a bare minimum, a hotel room has to be safe and clean. The hotel was selected by the tour company we used (Intrepid Travel) and I attempted to have them arrange for our stay at... More

I have stayed in a variety of hotels over my time as a traveller and this rates as one of the worst for hospitality service. Cosmetically, it looks lovely, but it really is pot luck on whether you get a clean room, or one where you can lock the door from the inside or one with a working safe or... More

There are better places to stay for a similar price. The room we stayed in had stained cushions on the bed, filthy shower head , broken shower screen and window. Only spent one night here then moved to another hotel for 2 more nights. See attached pictures and look elsewhere.

I have travelled extensively in Lao and it is clear that some reviewers are expecting more for their money and Thailand standards, but Lao is catching up albeit slowly. This is probably a two star hotel but it is basically clean and our shower and air conditioning were absolutely fine. The Wi-Fi is unreliable when a lot of users hit... More
