All in all it's not that dreamy. The beds are hard the wifi isn't reliable. But if you are looking for somewhere safe and central to stay as a backpacker I would recommend. It does say that it comes with a pool but in fact the pool is down the street by some apartment block that is constantly in the...

Rough around the edges, no locks on dorms, not all that clean, marginal facilities and rock hard beds. Wifi was pretty terrible too. But the staff are nice, access to a pool, pool table and they can book you buses etc. Breakfast is quite good for a hostel too and good location and showers are hot.

My wife and I spent two nights in a private room with A/C and bathroom on the last floor. We didn't like having to take off our shoes each time when entering the building. Wifi was not very reliable, it tended to disconnect. The free breakfast was simple but OK. We did not use or even see the swimming pool....

I booked the dorm bed for 2 nights, and happy about what I have paid for. It's only $5/night, and with the breakfast in the hostel closed to center Vientiane, it's a great deal. Nobody could ever complaint about since the hostel has a pool. Yes, you hear it right, pool in the hostel. Also the hostel is not far...

We booked a room with a double bed for two nights. The room was large, OK shape and mostly clean. The bathroom was also large and clean. BUT the price does not correspond with the quality of the room or the facilities! We looked forward to the pool, but there is only sun in the morning, the sun spot was...

Avoid this place if you can. It's a busy hostel so if you're a solo traveler it would be easy to meet people, but the bathrooms are gross and stink! The beds aren't much better either, and the dorm room didn't have a lock. Overall the place had a bad smell and didn't seem that clean. There seemed to be...

Dream Home Hostel 2 is a classic backpacker joint. Good location close to the centre of town and standard breakfast provided. Staff are largely uncommunicative but rooms are large . TV in room doesn't work .Tables out front and pool table in foyer offer the chance to meet other travellers. Bikes for hire . Residents can use adjacent hotel swimming...

We payed £22 for a private room. We thought for the price it had to be pretty decent, right? Though the beds were relatively comfy is pretty much the only positive. The bathroom smelt like sewage with the window boarded up very badly meaning there were lots of mosquitoes! The walls were literally rotting with gooey mould which sadly got...

All you need for a few nights in Vientiane. Staff very helpful and friendly. Able to book activities and buses at reception. Hired a scooter for the day and did some exploring. Great place to meet people. Basic and clean rooms. Breakfast included which is always handy :)

The hostel is alright for one or two nights. It's good to meet people and location although on the border of the city center is convenient. Big negative: the staff are hostile, many people i talked to felt the same. No sooner had I arrived that the man at the reception was trying to sell me a train ticket to...
