It was an average accommodation, nothing terribly good, nothing terribly bad. No elevator in the hotel, we had to climb up stairs with heavy bags. The room was clean but pretty small and windowless, the bed was okay. Price was a bit more expensive comparing with the other places. Good location, it's within walking distance of Nam Phou Fountain where...

Located in the center of the tourist area of Vientiane and a 10 minute walk to the Mekong, IHouse is perfectly situated for a convenient and comfortable stay in Laos' capital. Rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Don't expect a 5-star hotel, but for the price it is unbeatable. It is...

Disappointed because its not worth for what I paid. USD20 per night is so expensive for a poor room conditions, without breakfast. Air conditioner is not well maintained. I feel this is the worst hotel I stayed during my entire trip. I suggest travellers to find the nearest backpacker hostel (Vientiane backpackers hostel) will be much more better choice. You...

We stayed for two nights but already considered to move to another place the day we got to this hotel. The room was so small that we almost couldn't fit our two backpacks in it. The room had a bad smell and the bathroom was even worse. Also they don't provide soap for washing your hands. The walls were very...

Situated less than 10 minutes walk from the riverfront, so close to restaurants and the night market. Just a stone's throw from Nam Phou fountain where there are several food outlets available in the evenings and sometimes live music. Also several massage salons in the same street. Best of all is opposite the hotel - White Lotus salon. Had the...

the price of this hotel is in the middle range of Vientiane city; the hotel is nice but maybe a little bit expensive like the most part of hotel in vientiane so is difficult to find another hotel with the same conditions for lower price. Yuo have tv in the room(the room is quiet small) abd deposit luggage. Next door...

When the Souvanna was a bust, the folks over at New Lao Paris trotted me over here to grab the last available room- at the top of the five flights of stairs. I didn't care. It was neat, clean, with a/c, a clean bathroom, nice clean sheets, and I hardly sweat the workout. I was very happy to have a...

Over priced rooms. Only two rooms have Windows from where you can actually see out (thenmost expensive ones offcourse). Slow wifi. Somewhat hard to find, but once you find it (tuktuk drivers don't find it) the location is good and the staff is nice. You can get same standard rooms with half the money iHouse will charge you

Stayed here for a night. The reception staff was very helpful. They provide free maps of the city and show you the various attractions. Room was clean, although the tap was loose. Had a very comfortable stay here. You can book a taxi to the airport at the reception. There are no lifts, highest floor is 5th. Had the 5th...

When you walk in it looks nice, the owner and his wife are friendly but as soon as you walk up to the room you want to strangle them. It's disgusting. A dirty old falling apart bed basically doesn't allow us to open the door. We can walk together in the little space that's left between the bed and the...
