We used Salana's taxi service from the airport which was great - no negotiating a taxi on arrival. We had booked two rooms for our family and had stated the ages of the children but when we checked in they tried to charge an extra $10USD per child per night as our children were over the age of 8. Of...

Check in smooth and very friendly staff. Room nice with a nice bathroom, good ac, quiet room. Everything good but quiet pricey for Laos. Location good close to everything, restautants and close to the river and night market and temples

My husband and I stayed for two nights at Salana. The hotel is in a great location close to the river and lots of restaurants. We had a lot of fun exploring the area around it. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Our king sized bed is actually two smaller beds pushed together, so there is...

This hotel has a good location here in the Capital, but it has some issues. First, it really doesn't have the feel of a boutique hotel. I think there were 6 or 7 floors, with 15 or so rooms on each floor it seemed. My main concern about this place is that much of the staff does not seem to...

Easy to get a taxi from the airport. Go to the taxi kiosk just inside the main entrance. Great hotel with a fantastic location. The streets just down from the hotel are closed to traffic in the evening at week-ends for stalls etc. We can recommend a local, eating place on the next street parallel to the hotel going east....

This hotel is nice but not outstanding. It's clean, comfortable, in a great location (2 mins walk to night market), very pleasant staff and quite reasonable laundry prices (compared to some). The only thing that lets the place down is the service at breakfast. The breakfast food itself is quite nice, I would recommend the veggie omelette, however actually ordering...

The hotel is a 10 minute ride from the airport and is bang in the center of the city. The staff are very friendly and courteous although I feel that in general the people of Laos are very nice. The room was well furnished, though it was a bit small for the price. Had no problems with the wifi in...

After many hours of travelling we were very pleased that the hotel was located a short transfer from the airport. It is also well positioned to visit attractions within the city. Our room was located on 5th floor which was great as we missed a lot of traffic noise and also overlooked a Buddhist temple. The first morning I watched...

We had a comfortable week's stay here. The area still has some older buildings and during our stay a colorful street arts and culture festival was held to promote the concept of a preserved heritage quarter. I hope the heritage plans are successful. There are lots of wats, cafes and quality massage places in the area and it is a...

Lovely room, with a decent sized bathroom and good TV. Centrally located close to the night market. Breakfast quite simple but tasty. Service really good. Can't find anything to fault and would stay again.
