Is our first day in Vientiane and we did not book any hotel, we walk around and check out a few hotel and found here. The staff(can't really speak english) pass us the key and let us check the room, we decided to stay here cos the price is cheap at 80'000kip for a double bed room with aircond. The...

I love the time staying here. The price is reasonable with good accommodation, wifi, water.. . The location is good too, we can go round on foot. The staff are so nice, friendly, and they're always willing to help.

I payd 60.000k for a fan room. Rooms are ok, no view (window was 1m to next hotel building), with hot water (one day there was no water at all from 5pm till 10pm), bed linen was clean (no bedbugs), walls were dirty. NO Wifi - apparently they had wifi in the past, but didnt change the room prices since...

I travelled alone, arrived at Youth Inn around 7 am and early checked-in in a single room; 50 000 kip/night, no tv, no wifi, include a lunch. Receptionist is an old men and he seemed very nice. He helped me bring my luggages to my room. After that, he harassed me when he showed me room. I was angry and...

Brought 1 bug at the reception at 1 AM. The man at the reception was aggressive because he didn't want anyone to know about the bugs. I changed room without saying a word. No need to say anything more.

Stayed at this hostel during my time at Vientiane. I believe it cost 40,000 kip a night for a double bed room without airconditioning. No television in the room nor wifi. Also, you have to be back by the hotel by midnight or you will be locked out of the place. The owner manning this guesthouse is pretty paranoid. When...

For a fairly expensive capital city like Vientiane, this is a good value place with basic rooms but kind of dirty bathrooms. The location is fantastic and the staff weren't too bad so for just a few nights this is a decent option. There isn't much atmosphere but that's true with most of the city.

Initially I was quite pleased that I had got an air-con room at a reasonable rate but the problem started when I asked If I could have the air-con controller. First of all the grumpy man told me I would have to pay extra. So - let me get this straight....I've paid for an air-con room but if I want...

I arrived in Vientiane on a late flight and did not have a hotel reservation.. The only place I could find was Youth Inn 2 and I later found out why. The night receptionist was friendly enough and Gave we a room with A/C and bathroom. The linen was clean enough but the bathroom was very dirty. It did have...

A rather cheap-but-uncheerful place this one. The room was ok, I shared a triple with 2 friends, for 30,000kip each per night, but would not stay again. I hired a bicycle from here which broke leaving me with no brakes. Check the room very thoroughly before staying here, and look at other places too - maybe it's worth 5-10000 kip...
