Had a great stay at the city inn. We were walk in customers and the staff gave us a fair rate which we were really pleased about. We stayed in a junior suite which was lovely. Rooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good and we also had a meal which was also very good. Location was perfect,...

For the price, it:s so so for you paid. Room is ok but it can be much to improve cleaness if they will. The smell of the room or detergent or whatever is used for clean the room is something I do not like at all. Friendliness of the staff is something you want. But the level of the training...

Perfect location to explore the city. The hotel is non-descript without a lot of character. The rooms are good sized, clean, efficient. Service is appropriate, breakfast good. But you will not fall in love with this hotel. Overall: a good price for a central location hotel to stay for a day or two while getting to know the city.

The service was extremely friendly, gracious and welcoming. The door guys met me where the cab dropped me off, and carried my bag in, clearly without expecting a tip. The check-in process was fast and yet she took time to answer my questions about the area, and afterwards made the effort to take me to the front door to show...

We stayed at the City Inn the first few days of January. We stayed in the Junior Suite and it was wonderful. Great value, large room with a small area with a microwave and water heater. Two aircons and two televisions. King size bed and huge bathroom with tub and shower. Fantastic value. Breakfast was included and was very good...

Stayed late Dec 2010 for a few nights, loved the location (like minutes from everything, Lao Plaza hotel, black fountain...) but Hotel, though new, would need a bit of refurbishment. I agree with previous comments that somehow Laos is a little bit more pricey than Thailand and I think we overpayed the hotel as the standards are clearly lower than...

This hotel is very well managed and we had a great stay. The staff are helpful and the rooms not over done, but stylish. We had a nice veranda facing the quiet backyard so we could enjoy a peaceful sleep. The location is also great with walking distance to nice restaurants and cafes. We would stay there again.

Concrete floors in the rooms, tiles in the hallways, so every footstep and loud person reverberates through the rooms. Thin glass badly fitted into window and door frames means every rumbling truck and loud motorbike blasts through as well. Decent bed and shower....Awful breakfast though. What should have been hot was cold and vice versa. I asked for ice to...

The location is close to actractions. The room was very nice, spacious and well eqipped. Breakfast was buffet style and was very good. Staff was friendly. Just a little noise from the street affected our sleep.
