I've stayed at a bunch of similar sized boutique hotels and high quality guesthouses in Phnom Penh, and I would judge this to be about the best value I've stayed at. Quality is good (at this price range - it's not Raffles prices, so don't expect Raffles service), and the staff are very helpfull and friendly - that's hardly unusual...

We spent 2 nights at this guest house and found it a good location for either walking or short tuktuk rides to all attractions. The owner David was very helpful organizing airport transfers and talking us through the map, local eateries, and giving safety recommendations. The tuktuks associated with the manor house were fantastic. Reasonable prices, good drivers, and never...

This review is quite late. The Manor House Hotel is located in a quiet neighboorhood near the Independent Monument. I booked two rooms for myself and three family members during our short trip to Phnom Penh. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. They serve breakfast at the garden restaurant near the pool area. Although the breakfast was not buffet...

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for taking the time to review Manor House, however your review for sure is quite late … going from your pictures your stay was prior to July 2011. Since these photos were taken all of our rooms have been updated. Prospective guests, please see our new photos under Professional and Management Photos. David

My partner and I spent a week at the Manor House and it was perfect for what we needed! Great services, welcoming staff, breakfast was plentiful and the rooms were clean. The guest house is located in a safe and convenient part of the city with reliable and good tuk-tuks available anytime. The towels did smell of cigarette smoke and...

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for taking the time to review Manor House and your positive comments. I welcome both positive and negative comments so we can continue to improve our guesthouse. I cannot understand how the towels smelt of smoke as our Laundry is done on the premises and air-dried on the top floor and none of my staff smoke....

My daughter and I stayed in many places while in Cambodia and Manor House was by far the best. The owner (David) was so very helpful - organised buses, gave us directions and recommendations for places to eat, things to see etc. He had thought of all guests' needs including newspapers, sunscreen, insect repellent, hand sanitiser.....The room was clean, had...

Stayed in this hotel for two nights, the bedroom was very spacious, plenty of tea/coffee, everywhere was very clean, the pool very nice, although small, but very good for cooling down after a long day sightseeing, breakfast was very good, with a good choice, did find it a little out of the way, but enjoyed the walk into town where...

Perfect small hotel in a convenient area. Comfortable rooms, great wifi, But the real secret to this hotel is the amazing staff. They know what you need and want before you do. The breakfast is great and had long hours so if you want to sleep in, no problem. Kara and Poy are always ready with suggestions and you get...

Stayed here for 2 nights at the start of our Cambodia laos trip. Lovely welcome and a really nice room with great shower. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Small but very nice pool area. Great breakfast. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Helped us with bus tickets. Slightly out of the way of the main tourist drag but to be honest that's...

I was expecting much more for the price I paid and for the prices they charge for Phnom Penh. Although the room was very clean the furnishings were a hodge podge of what looked to be "hand me downs" they picked up off the street. The staff were very friendly and accommodating however the owner was not. He appeared genuinely...

Dear YouHaveToBekidding, Thank you for taking the time to review Manor House. However, having dealt with the public for over 40 years I realize that I cannot please everyone, particularly with your nickname of “YouHaveToBekidding”. Having read your other reviews (4 negative reviews out of 5) on highly rated establishments, I feel it would be difficult to please you. “Furnishings...

Not so far from the city centre (tuk-tuk available outside), it's a beautiful house with a little garden with a small but comfortable swimming pool. Rooms are quite spacious normally furnished. Breakfast well prepared. The staff is kind. Nothing wrong but even nothing really special.
