This is a great hotel in an excellent location within walking distance of lots of sights. Very calm and relaxing oasis from slightly chaotic Phnomh Penh. The garden and pool are lovely. Great breakfast too. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. The only slight downside is that the bathrooms don't quite match up to the rest and are a...

We stayed here only one night and we didn't want to leave! Such a find - the hotel is on the same road as the Prime Minister's house, so there is access only for hotel guests and a big lush garden surrounding the hotel. A great place to escape the hustle and bustle. Staff, food, facilities, pool and rooms all...

We have just come back from our trip around Cambodia and the Kabiki was our first stop.Right from the word go, emails were quickly answered and bookings made.We organised for a van to pick us up and take us to the hotel. It is in walking distance to all the tourist sights including the Royal Palace. It did say that it was...

Nice room, no criticism. Nice quite gardens and pool area. Service at breakfast a bit slow. Central to city. Staff friendly. Would stay here again. Dawn chorus could be annoying if you are a light sleeper.

The hotel has a lush tropical garden. Although it needs a good pruning. The welcome at check was very personalized with cold drink and a refreshing towel . The room we choose was spacious with 2 king size beds. Bathroom shower was nice with hot water and pressure. Unfortunately they don't provide bath robes and face towels. The restaurant and...

Great value hotel....lovely garden, nice pool and friendly and helpful staff, who even came running to collect our luggage. Has a nice collection of cats that are happy to sit with you by the pool. Right next to the prime ministers house and the house of his cousin, both magnificent buildings. Strict security on entry to the area. Family friendly....

While in Cambodia, The Kabiki hotel is a place where you ought to stay. The hotel is located amidst the nature and lets you feel the serenity first hand. The deluxe double room is where we stayed and it had an awesome private terrace. The setting of the Hotel is awesome. Its right in the middle of the city yet...

The staff were wonderful, extremely helpful. The breakfast was super and served outdoors beside the pool. A good pool , large enough to do laps. The grounds are well kept, a real tropical garden. The rooms are well separated and have adequate balconies overlooking the garden. A couple of negatives however. The road outside the hotel is blocked to general...

The best part of our stay at this property was the staff. They were very welcoming and helped us with restaurant recommendations (the restaurant did make me sick though -- was the only one in our group to get sick at this recommended restaurant, so I can't blame the hotel). Although the rooms were clean, they looked pretty dingy. The...

We stayed twice at the Kabiki when traveling in Cambodia. It is a 3 star hotel, neat and tidy, in a great position with nice staff. The rooms are small and have a small safe, AC, overhead fan, free wifi etc. The hotel has a nice pool--not heated and yes the water was cold--not too cold for kids though. The...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
After opening our famous Pavilion boutique hotel, we realised, as people with family ourselves, that Phnom Penh needed a resort that was family orientated and child friendly. The historic colonial house we found on Oknha Peich Street with its 3500m2 of surrounding land was perfect. Caring, friendly staff, lots of nature for children to explore, the Kabiki is a place to relax, take a swim and lounge in the sun between days exploring Phnom Penh and the nearby attractions of the Royal Palace, Wat Botum and the riverside. We planted over 500 native trees, many of which we've placed name tags on so you can identify them yourselves. ... more   less
