I cannot put into words how I feel about iRoHa. We were greeted by wonderful, attentive staff, and the owner, who are all the most peaceful and beautiful people I have ever met. On arrival we were given a welcome drink and cold face cloth and made a herbal tea in our room to go with a fruit platter. Later that evening we came back to chocolates in our room and a petal heart in our bed. It tunes into all the senses from the smell of flowers in the garden and peppermint in the room to the sound of the breeze through the plants, the geckos and music that sends you into a state of calm. The design and materials used are beautiful; everything is rounded off and is natural. The artwork pulls you into the pictures and the furniture draws your eyes down the corridors to focal points. The pool gets the sun in the daytime and is a welcome oasis to cool down from the heat. We were provided with everything we needed and didn’t know we needed such as mosquito spray and drinking water at the side of the pool, chocolates and nuts in the bar. I would definitely recommend the spa, the massage and scrub was amazing. I’m really sad to be leaving for this place. ❤️…
We visited this oasis in Jan22 and have recently had 2 further visits. We were not disappointed. All the great points we commented on then are still applicable. Everything about this place is wonderful. Especially the service. For example - Last time here I made a minor comment about the trestle tables in the garden. This time they remembered this and moved a larger restaurant table into the garden for our comfort. Our Home from Home in Phnom Penh. Big thank you to the Owner, Management and Staff. Great experience as always See you next year
We arrived here for our honeymoon and our bed was decorated with flowers and Swan towels as well as a handmade card signed from all of the staff! A blissful sanctuary minutes from the heart of the city with the BEST and most personable service - the whole team couldn't do enough for us. We truly felt we had returned 'home' at the end of each day. The hotel is situated down a quiet gated street and has beautiful gardens surrounding the pool. Special mention Theara who we wished could come with us for the rest of our 3 month travel!!! iRoHa french toast is a must! It takes a while to cook but worth it!!
Beautiful hotel, delicious food, wonderful garden, and endless smiling faces. I've stayed in many fancy hotels around the world, but the owner, Susumu, and staff at iRoHa provided the best service I've ever had. They anticipated our needs before we even asked. Mind readers? Bravo!
Wonderful place, quiet, with a nice garden and pool. Relaxing and quiet, you feel out of the city. Everything is clean and perfectly thought, very nice designed rooms. Excellent service. Iroha we will be back. Thankyou soo much for being soo helpful and providing us such wonderful time.
Small boutique hotel set in lovely gardens in a walled enclosure. Very quiet and safe. Greeted personally by the owner. Staff are polite courteous and very attentive. Often anticipate your needs. Lots of nice little touches. We were in one of the garden villas. Good size comfortable room including a large bed and desk area. Everything was kept neat and clean. Food standards were high with choice of Asian, Japanese and Western cuisine. Large pool again kept very clean. Only minor complaint was that the garden chairs and tables are not very comfortable - especially if you're tall. Otherwise pretty much spot on. Will certainly stay here again.
It's a different world when you step through the gates of this establishment. You hear new bird calls along with the echoed 'Welcome home,' of the friendly staff. It's not just a gimmick. Anything you need is at your disposal to make your home away from home pleasant and as comfortable as possible. The amenities, i.e. the pool, the cabanas, the garden, are well maintained and there is always the option to rest in your room. Rooms vary from simple to deluxe, each tastefully decorated, often with local weaves, fabric as well as ornaments. In the evening, staff lay out your robe with highly creative arrangements of petals from the garden. The restaurant offers Japanese snacks along with other Asian and Western choices. Breakfasts are a draw with a wide selection of choices. Apart from the birds, I have been delighted by the 'wildlife'. I saw a squirrel and the biggest praying mantis!! IRoHa Garden is a place to pause, to befriend other guests and always to share animated conversations with the Management.…
My friends and I had the chance to stay at the hotel for a staycation late Novembre 2021. We immediately enjoyed the quiet of the hotel. Though you are located close to one of Phnom Penh’s busiest avenues, the hotel is located on a quiet street where most cars aren’t allowed to pass. The result is that you can enjoy the sunny and well exposed pool and the garden without any disturbance. Moreover, outsiders are not allowed to use the pool - which makes the hotel even more quiet and enjoyable - unlike most of Phnom Penh’s hotels (like Penhouse or Plantation). On top of this quiet and relaxing atmosphere, you’ll find really professional and friendly staff who will do their best to make you feel at home. We stayed in rooms 16 and 17 which were really spacious and had a warm and homey vibe. The rooms featured a coffee machine and we were welcomed with a choice of tea and small cakes which were nicely appreciated. You’ll note that the hotel is also mindful of sustainability, providing water in glass containers and putting the shower creams in bigger, refillable containers. If I had to find something to complain about, maybe it would be the food price, which is quite high (though the quality is fair). But I didn’t really mind, as the rest of our stay was truly a unique and amazing experience. Thank you for your warm hospitality!…
I have stayed at Iroha many times. The service is always excellent. They really care about their guests. The rooms are beautiful set in tranquil gardens. You will not believe you are in the middle of the city as it sits in a quiet private road. I love it and wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
I always stay there every month when I went Phnom Penh , all staff so friendly and warm welcome me and my group. The best place to stay and quiet place , best security and comfortable room with unique design. I highly recommend this place .
