This hotel is walking distance to Royal Palace, National Museum and the River side / Quay. It is neat and clean. Safe place for a lady travelling alone. The room is cute but small but guess that is how Phnom Penh is. They take $50 advance deposit which they refund during check out after checking mini bar etc. which was unusual for me. Please note if the deposit receipt is lost then they will not give the refund. Please factor in 5 to 10 minutes for this process during check out. The hotel has a small pool and in the opposite building they have a large pool. Both pools are good and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are some nice restaurants around. The hotel also has a restaurant and spa but I did not use them so cannot comment. The restaurant is on the expensive side. The spa had 30% discount but I did not use it…

I review hotels for a living. I’m a perfectionist; highly critical. This is a magnificent hotel. But not in a Ritz-Carlton, Shangri-la, Kempenski, over-the-top, pretentious, wow-factor style. La Rose Suites, in a humble, unassuming way just does everything right. The service is exceptional without being obsequious. The rooms are a work of art, and spotless. The bedding is luxurious; the wooden floors are lovely The bathrooms are gorgeous. The air conditioners work flawlessly. I stayed two times here, for a total of 22 days, in two, different rooms. This hotel is wonderfully managed. The staff is sensational and genuinely warm - no “hands-out” phony friendly. It starts with correspondence. I had a number of questions, and Kunthy at reception was magnificent in responding. Any day of the week, no matter the time of night, she responded immediately, and with warmth. Sopheaktra at reception is lovely. Helped me out with so many matters- nothing was a problem. Sokea in the restaurant was the most exceptional server I’ve ever had. Housekeeping was terrific. Anything you needed, you got it immediately. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble for this staff. La Rose Suites is a very peaceful ambiance. The soft music; the lit candles; the flowers. Upon arrival the staff all were so friendly and welcoming and instantly made us feel at home. Check in was simple and we were taken to our room, which was everything we could've wanted - a comfortable bed, a big TV, a huge bath, a nice shower and everything was so clean. The staff were easy to contact on messenger and went above and beyond my expectations by helping me print documents for my flight with no issues. We were really happy we chose to stay here for the final two nights in Cambodia and we hope to stay here again one day.

This is the second time I'm staying in this hotel and the experience it is getting better and better. I don't know how to explain their hospitality for both time I stayed there. It's nice and clean hotel. They employees which they are working there are always nice. From the cleaning person to the receptionist. Everything starts from the management which their are on top of everything. They helped me to find out how take my Covid 19 test and they were happy to get out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. I will recommend thus hotel to everyone. It's is near a nice park to walk and very close to restaurants. I always eat there as they offer Thai western and local food and I never got disappointed. I'm looking forward to stay there again next week.
