I have stayed at the FCC for about 4 years ,averaging twice a year. As PP grows the FCC has become very noisy and sleeping past 5am impossible.Staff are friendly but the hotel is looking tired and has lost its charm as it has become commercialised. A number of new boutque hotels have opened nearby with better resaurants and some...

I am not reviewing the accommodation as we did not stay here. We did however come to he restaurant for a sunset cocktail. The location was good and the service too. But and this is a huge but after asking for the bill for a glass of wine ($6) and cocktails and bottle of water we could not believe the...

Just to start out on a good note, the food was excellent here and the bar is a must for the sunset over the Mekong and Tonle Sap. However the rooms are a big disappointment for the price paid, no working air con, very noisy due to street. There was no front door or front desk to stop anybody walking...

I stayed on 21 in FCC in a deluxe room. The place has charm, you feel the history and it is a fantastic location. The deluxe hotel rooms are big, but very used ( tired), they put me on the 1st floor which is extremely noisy just above the street. There is much better lodging at that price available. Go...

Had read that this place was great and we ended up walking miles trying to find it after getting a tuk tuk to the wrong part of the riverside, wow we were so disappointed, busy and full of tourists eating western food at high prices, poor service at the bar, bad beer not cold enough, expensive cocktail which was poor,...

FCC is the place to be when you visit Phnom Penh. The food quality is excellent, but it has to be since the price is quite high. The view is something you pay for, sunset view over Thonle Basac river is really good. Make sure you come in threes or fours, and way before 5PM if you want to get...

Docked in Phnom Penh on a River Cruise and decided to go out for dinner. Heard about the FCC so decided to take a Tuk Tuk there and back. The food was ok - nothing fancy and it was a bit overpriced for what you got. It is the kind of place you would go if you don't want any...

The location of this hotel is great and the room was amazing, but we got ripped off with the mini bar, make sure you work out what is in it before and after. Also the security on the street balcony rooms could do with a revamp, it didnt feel that safe. Check what room you have if you pre-paid, we...

Maybe we were expecting more. Nice view, nice colonial place but the food was expensive and not so great. We took what they called "CR" (Chef recommendation), we ordered salads and fish and chips. The ceasar salad was served with recooked cold boiled egg, generally no taste and the crumble of the fish was thick and chewy like recooked too....

Great place this - sitting in the bar near the balustrade, looking out over the river and observing the chaotic traffic below us. The view if the two mighty rivers, Tonle Sap and Mekong converging was inspiring and we found friendly fellow guests to talk to which made for a really enjoyable evening. We just used the place as a...
