I came to Cambodia over 2 years ago. My intent was to stay in a hotel (the Paris) while I looked for an apartment. Guess what! I have stayed here ever since. When I tell locals that I pay $400 a month they ask me why I don't get an apartment which I could get for $200. Why? Because I...

My local friend recommended this hotel and I stayed some days there in January 2012. Hotel is situated on Kampuchea Krom street, quite far from riverside pleasures but tuks are waiting always at the hotel entrance. My hotel room was reasonable big with double bed, writing desk and two chairs. Shower in the bath room leaked. Hotel has no breakfast. Chinese...

I agree totally with the previous review by The Privateer. Everyone I met during my short visit was staying near the riverfront and paying at least $25 for anything half-decent. This was a 30 or 40-minute walk away but only cost $1 for a motorbike taxi or $2 for a tuk tuk driver to get you to the riverfront and...

Most regular folk checking out reviews of this hotel will probably be debating whether it is wise staying in an establishment branded as a "brothel" by many. To address that immediately -- my answer is that I never encountered any unpleasantness, noise, or sleaze during my 2 nights stay there. Avoid floors 3-4 (most tourists are put on the highest...

Have just spent 2 weeks at Paris, the front desk Guys are great value, they ensure you are safe by only allowing hand picked Motortaxi drivers to take you places, leave your valuables with them in a sealed bag which you sign the seals never had any problem obtained every second day and resealed. The Casino is closed and the...
