The location of this guesthouse is very central. The Royal Palace is right next to it just about 3 min walk. The main thing of this place that there is no elevator and if your room is on the 3rd floor your only way up there is through a staircase. I travel with suitcase which wieght 18 kilogram I couldn't... More

Arrived later in the afternoon and was accommodated very well. As soon as we arrived, we were assisted for our night trip the next day for our trip to Siem Reap. The room was very good for we do have our own balcony that shows an amazing view of the nearby royal palace and the museum. The place were a... More

Great location and front desk lady who speaks perfect English and can organise and tours or transport for you. Rooms are basic and only have a silk cloth as a blanket, wifi can be a bit dodgy and a lot of stairs to climb if on a higher floor but a good budget choice if you're just staying a night... More

Clean rooms, good bathroom facilities, can book transportation to next destination & also in a good location for meals on a backpacker budget. Rooms cleaned daily and were very spacious. Air con worked well. Good value for money & nothing to complain about.

This side of the Mekong is interesting, because after 11pm it transforms from a lively and fun bar/restaurant scene into Cambodia's seedy underbelly. Being budget travellers, we were swayed by the low price. Although my girlfriend and I never felt that unsafe, (being drunk might have had something to do with it), we did feel a little on edge coming... More

Bright Lotus has attractively decorated and spacious clean en-suite rooms with air-con, fan and excellent cable TV. The location is also excellent with views of the Royal Palace. This guesthouse is very good value, especially given the average prices in Phnom Penh are higher than is typical in SE Asia. We booked the double room with a corridor window, but... More

We stayed here for two nigts. Rooms are nothing special but fine! There is a nice balncony were you can enjoy a nice view. It is close to the royal Palace. And they can arrange trips for you. There is no elevator so if you are in a bad condition It's maybe not the best place to go.

This guesthouse/hotel is right behind FCC, near the Royal Palace and the National Museum. You couldn't ask for a better location in Phnom Penh! I got a nice double room with aircon, free WiFi, fridge, and sattelite TV for $20. It even had a balcony facing the National Museum. The building is from the colonial era, but the rooms are... More
