Been to Cambodia many times and have stayed in a few hotels. This time I was with a group so they wanted a slightly cheaper hotel and one which offered privacy. This hotel gave pretty good rooms and excellent value for money. Staff were very friendly (as is the norm with Cambodians) and certainly made us feel welcome. Would recommend...

I had read about GH hotel in a travel magazine and was keen to explore for myself. Its location on Mao Tse Tung Bvd is convenient for access to BKK1 attractions, but I found it a little lacking in detail. The moody lighting in Room 1 / Spa was dramatic but not much use and I stumbled over the small...

Unfortunately we stayed only 1 night, but it was great. This hotel has an old world elegance with its antiques, wonderful interior and quirky decorations. previously the governor' residence, the building has a style and grace that modern hotels can only dream of. A very functional hotel, with a bar in the lobby, restaurant by the pool and restaurant in...

unlike past reviews we had a lovely stay at the Governor's house. was clean everything worked and the antiques and art made you feel you were in a private home. We ate the evening meal at the Iguazu restrauant and could not fault it. Have been to Sth America many times so know what a cerviche is supposed to taste...

The good news first: we got a very good deal. $40 is way less than the usually charge. But the hotel came down im the last 2 years a lot. My room had a broken aircon. I told them 2 times - 2 times a mechanic came... It was still broken when i checked out. During my last night, the...

Warm welcome, friendly staff, nice villa but not really clean and well maintained. Very goof food in the restaurant ( for Belgians ). We as Belgians expected to have a chat with the Belgian owner but that was not the case. In the morning we lost more then 30 minutes because breakfast was served too late. There was a lack...

This place looks nice at first glance around but for someplace so young in age, it shows a lack of proper maintenance. Add to that an arrogant, rude owner who has zero customer service skills. I so wanted to like this hotel. The staff are nice and do try but that isn't enough to compensate for the plumbing fixtures which...

One experience with this hotel and the owner is negative. We booked this hotel in May 2015. The rooms rates were quoted to us in US dollars but no requirement to give credit card details. A few days out I emailed for confirmation of rates as on line prices were less than half quoted price. Management did not answer my...

Great place for relaxing in the city. Really beautiful house and terrace. Nice served breakfast. My reason for not giving 5 stars: Our children didn't like the cold pool, which looked really inviting.

This is an old colonial style building, probably of 50s vintage. Our room (Hemmingway) was nice and I suspect that there were some nicer. Our bathroom sink was a triumph of style over practicality, with no plug, a shallow basin and a high tap that meant that every time you turned it on you could not avoid splashing your stomach!...
