We've stayed in countless guesthouses and hostels in South East Asia, but nothing compares to the Lazy Gecko. This place caters for everyone with clean comfortable private rooms and dorms, as well as a spacious well stocked bar and restaurant downstairs. What makes this place so special though, are the knowledgable managers and staff who are really committed to providing...

Hard to put into words how much I love this place. Dave, Todd and all the guys at the gecko made us never want to leave. We only managed to when we ended up going on to Kampot with the crew! It's people that make a place and I've never felt happier (or more hungover) anywhere because of these guys....

Awesome guesthouse that is kept to the highest standard of cleanliness (especially in the dorms). The food is amazing and of fair price. You cannot ask for a better location only 2 min walk to the royal palace and riverside. The staff are amazing and very helpful. The bar and restaurant area is perfect for meeting other travellers and sharing...

All the employees were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our entire visit. Awesome food/drinks, great location and clean rooms! There's also a cute dog named Eric, who we grew to love. If you're looking for...

If you are looking for a laid back but fun place to stay in PP this is for you. The owners are always ready for a chat and are really nice guys who make sure that all of their guests have a good time. However the real star is Eric the dog who patrols the bar greeting new arrivals and...
