After some bad recent hotel experiences, it was nice to be greeted by warm smiles by the women at reception. What they lack in great English, they make up for with their nice personalities and patience. I was very sick with strep during my one night here and they let me borrow an electric water boiler and cut up some...

BJ's was fine....really nice staff, although somewhat spotty English (only one girl was fluent). Okay breakfast, a baguette, fruit, coffee...nothing special but not bad. Rooms were nice, comfy enough, clean enough - but for price, wondered if I could have gotten something better for $3-5/ night more? There was a kitchen on the 2nd floor that smelled up the room...

Stayed for two nights in the standard room on the top floor. Decent room. Water cut out once in a while. Wifi was very strong and fast but would cut out once in a while. There was a large gap under the door that let mosquitoes in. (We stuff the comforter under it). AC wasn't strong but sufficient. The management...

The rooms were bigger than the usual rooms you would get in their price range in Vietnam-Cambodia. Also, that they were clean and tastefully decorated with wooden furnishings was a welcome treat. Bathrooms were typically small but water pressure was strong. We visited during the low season and property seemed understaffed. Front desk person/cook/waitress (yup, she did everything) was not...

Why do all your reviewers seem to have stayed on the top floor? Very sensible of them. We did, too - in the front room with the balcony. Despite the hike up the stairs, it was awesome! The poor girls at the front desk somehow managed to get our ridiculously heavy luggage up the stairs quite cheerfully - a service...

Small hostel but with a perfect location and very friendly staff.  We stayed at the top floor (3rd) and the lack of lift (stairs are quite steep) was overcompensated by our huge terrace - the whole wall was a glass one opening to a nice roofed terrace half the size of the room overlooking the area.  Just a stone from...

I found the location of this hotel great. The room was just OK. No telephone. No tea/coffee maker. But the bed and the hot shower were nice. It is very close to the river front. All bars / restaurants / massage joints nearby. Only sad part - the hotel staff passed on my name to a con tuk tuk driver...

Location: minutes from the riverside yet relatively quiet, walking distance to the Central Market, shopping mall, Royal Palace & National Museum Staff: Super genuinely friendly staff! Only one of the sisters who runs this place speaks english well. That said, the other two are more than happy to help you as best they can. Rooms: basic & clean with decent...
