Highly recommend a stay here. As a hotel, it is great. Good rooms, lovely peaceful tranquil building which has a very relaxing atmosphere. Nice food. Fairly central location so easy to get places by tuk tuk. Add in the fact that it is a non profit operation that run to help out local people and to provide education for children...

We stayed in You Khin House when we arrive in Phnom Penh. There was a problem with the original room (leak in the roof) and the guesthouse sent me an email to give us different solutions. As we were already in the airport in Paris, we decided to go anyway. Finally, the room problem was fixed and the staff apologised...

We spent a day and a night at You Khin House while at Phnom Penh. It was a lucky accident as we had intended to go straight to Siem Reap but could not find affordable last minute flights. We felt at home from the moment we booked the hotel and called the staff to request for an airport pickup. The...

This was the highlight of my month-long trip to Myanmar and Cambodia! Muoy You runs a wonderful hotel, but the highlight, for me, was visiting the school and learning about her projects. The children from all walks of life are getting an amazing, well-rounded education. They learn three languages, manners, music and more. It was amazing walking into the hotel...

We stayed here as a family of four for three nights. Service and staff were excellent and friendly, as was You Khin house itself - terrific paintings and garden. The highlight was a terrific christmas dinner for all the hotel guests. Our room was a little shabby, but this wasn't a big issue. I would definitely recommend this as a...

My hubby and I stayed here for 3 nights. Overall, we had quite a pleasant experience at the hotel. Thought the main pros and cons were below. Pros: 1. Soothing atmosphere and decor - the hotel wraps around a lovely courtyard with a sparkling swimming pool and plenty of greenery. There's also artwork displayed on almost every wall of the...

We had 2 wonderful days at You Khin House. A very nice location in the middle of the town. The room was comfortable enough for us and even not having all time very hot water was ok as well. We were impressed with all the kids around and how lovely they get teached. We can just recommend to stay at...

I enjoyed Phnom Penh a great deal, and the You Khin House was very comfortable. My only criticism is that it was very difficult to understand who worked at the hotel versus who was there to work/volunteer for the school on-site. I loved seeing the kids in their music lessons, cooking crepes, and in swim class. The cause is great,...

Great little hotel, by staying here you can do your bit for a very worthwhile cause. Really interesting stay, you see things here you will see in no other hotel. The food in 'the four ladies' kitchen is brilliant, proper home cooked Khmer cuisine. Beautiful.

The lady who welcomed us was very supportive and charming. The room was spacious, cosy and clean. After an exhausting trip we were so gratefull for the great, great dinner, which was provided at the hotel. Great value for price - we really recommend this guesthouse/hotel!!!

Welcome to You Khin House, your very special hideaway while traveling through Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh. After a day exploring this bustling city you can retreat to an oasis of tranquility and friendliness . You’ll enjoy our secluded setting, clean new accommodation and amenities such as swimming pool, art gallery, snooker, bar. The rooms are decorated each in its own colour of the day and harmoniously blend tradition and modernity. The Four Ladies Kitchen serves delicious home food always prepared with fresh ingredients, served with generous portions and reasonably priced. You will also enjoy the delicious fruit shakes and juices. In the evening our mini-bar is open and should you wish, you could watch your favourite movie on a giant screen above the pool while sipping your drink (advance notice required). Our staff will make you feel at home and our dog - Srey Mao (Dark Girl)- will loudly beg for a pat from you. Soon she will steal your heart as she has done with numerous guests. Our place is special in that it is a social enterprise. All the proceeds go to support our school, Seametrey Children's Village, located an hour away from Phnom Penh. ... more   less
