The room it self is not that bad. Double bed, fan, some used slippers (not very hygienic if you ask me). The bed sheets weren't clean we found hair everywhere. Wifi connection was good, until the staff changed the password without informing anyone. The room is full of ants, so don't leave food around. Even in the bathroom the water... More

The staff is friendly and helpfull. The room and bathroom were just fine. Wifi worked good. Towels, waterbottle, soap and toothbrush provided. Do mind that there is no elevator, so ask a room on the lower floors if you don't like climbing a lot of stairs. We were on the fifth floor, good view and we only had to do... More

Ok, I ended up there after targeting guesthouses picked out of the Lonely Planet but they were fully booked or too expensive. Found this place via booking.com which is safe as they give to give you the rate stated on booking.com. I like to be close to the river so it was too far our for me but otherwise the... More

I have stayed many times in the past due to its location and price. It was ok in the past but my last trip the cleaner decided to pocket my expensive aftershave. I confronted the receptionist and after 30mins of waiting the cleaner decided to come out of hiding and produce my aftershave from under his motorbike seat. All I... More

We booked this online just so we would have somewhere to stay when we arrived and not be at the mercy of the tuk-tuk drivers. There aren't many redeeming features of this guest house. When we arrived we had to kill an army of mosquitoes in our room, the wifi barely worked, the area is scary and dangerous, we were... More

We found an infestation of bedbugs crawling on our bed at night. When we went to the desk to tell the manager his reaction made it clear that this has happened more than once. They did switch our rooms for that night but in general the place is not very clean and has a musty, old feeling.

After getting our passports stolen in Sihanoukville, my husband and I had to stay 2 weeks in Phnom Penh, waiting to get temporary ones. Spring Guest house was the cheapest place around (same price as the hostels, but here it is private rooms). The staff was fine, they tried to be helpful if we asked them questions. There is a... This place is a guidebook example collection of the most atrocious mistakes that can be made by a hotel. We stayed for 4 nights and had so many unpleasant encounters with the staff that I lost the count. First the internet was down for two whole days, and when I told the receptionist that, he shook his head, repeating mantra-like... More
