I had made a reservation at their sister hotel next door, but was disappointed with the room, so immediately I was on the lookout for a better hotel. I checked a couple of hotels in the area, & then stumbled on Blue Tongue. It did not look like a hotel from the exterior, but was pleasantly surprised when I entered...

My family and myself stayed here in February 2012 for about a week. The room was lovely and big, with large comfortable beds and clean sheets. The aircon worked very well which was good as it was very hot! The bathroom was beautiful and very clean with nice towels. We only ate dinner their once and I couldn't complain. Overall...

There's not a lot I can add to the previous comments except to re-iterate that the rooms are nice although windowless, the accomodation is fine and the location isn't bad at all. The so called red light district is a bit of a play up, it's not at all that bad an area although having lived and traveled in Asia...

Stumbled across this hotel while in Phnom Penh. Stayed elsewhere for 2 nights but moved in after checking out their rooms. On entering the cafe restaurant area it is clear this place is a bit different than similar priced hotels in Cambodia. Spotlessly clean and spacious. I chose a deluxe room that was big and had a huge king size...

PROS - modern and spacious rooms. CONS - the staff are not overly attentive. Right in the middle of the red light district. The walkabout pub right next door are full of sleazy men and working woman. Also the restaurant meals are over priced and not good quality. I suggest you stay closer to riverside.

Stayed here twice, first time in the deluxe room which was spacious and had a good view. When we returned we had inadvertently booked a standard room which was way smaller and had no window you could see out of, only small windows up by the ceiling to let the light in. Tv's were dated, and the air con was...

My usual Hotel in Phnom Penh, was now described as getting old and filthy and Blue Tongue nearby was recommended. The Hotel is in a small street, near to shopping and night life, entertainment. Standard rooms are quiet have good size, WIFI-Internet worked well, (But Standard rooms have no window, just a small opening in the wall to a wall,...

We got a triple room and stayed for three nights, very prompt reply via email. Clean and spacious with comfortable bed. The rain shower in the bathroom is a pleasant surprise. There is cable TV in the room too. Tuk tuk to central market is USD 2, Royal Palace costs around USD 3. Guests enjoy 50% discount for breakfast at...

Stayed here again during my recent visit to Phnom Penh. Same reasons for choosing this hotel, central location, walking distance to Sorya and Central market and a short tuk-tuk ride to the river-front.. Booked a triple room and since it is a bigger room, it takes a longer time for the air-conditioning to cool the room down. Rooms are clean...
