Once we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed with an iced tea. The staff was kind enough to exchange the money we had withdrawn from the ATM so that we could pay the Tuk-Tuk driver appropriately. They also assisted us in arranging a SIM card and taking care of the laundry. There is an extensive menu, well-maintained room and restaurant with beautiful views. The rooftop pool is also great!

My partner and I began our first Asian visit at this hotel as part of a Intrepid Travel group. We arrived late after midnight. Check in was professional and the front desk handled some mix up in the room type. The room was clean and average size for a couples room. Bathroom was clean and had good size shower. Bed and mattress was comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony and view. We were able to sit outside at night as we recovered from our 30 hour jet leg. The Aquarius is in a good location to the city’s main attractions. The Royal Palace,National Museum and the river promenade are within walking distance. The night market is also walkable if you choose. Tuk Tuks outside the hotel can be had for about 2$ US to take you to most tourist areas if you choose not to walk. We felt safe leaving the hotel to walk around the area and down to the river. Breakfast buffet is included. The buffet is plentiful with lots of fruit to choose from as well as Asian breakfast specialties. The western style breakfast items were good so long as you are not expecting a large selection. Order the eggs made to order for you! The hotel seems to have brought itself up to speed fairly well following a long Covid slowdown. We would recommend this hotel and stay here again if we are ever back in Phnom Penh.

This hotel has the perfect location in Phnom Penh and is a 15 minute walk to many of the city's top attractions like the Royal Palace, Independence Monument, National Museum of Cambodia and Wat Phnom. It costs a dollar or two on ride share applications to get to most of the city's attractions from here as well and there are many tasty restaurants nearby. The pool and sky bar are an attraction in themselves with great views of the city, good cocktails and good dinner.
We booked a standard double room and found the rooms are comfy, but are just a place to sleep in our opinion. The showers have good water pressure, the air conditioning is perfect and the room itself has an interesting industrial design. Our standard room had a view...of a brick wall. They also gave us a welcome fruit plate with oranges and passionfruit.
The tweaking this hotel needs: Housekeeping - The staff missed our room the first day. This wouldn't normally be a problem, but we think our welcome fruit plate attracted some fruit flies. The second day we were there they took all of our towels without replacing and left a small pile of crumbs in the middle of the floor. The pool ran out of towels our second night there and the staff recommended we get our own towels from our room.
Breakfast - The staff are super nice, but breakfast at this hotel is just sustenance. The best options are the fruit and carbs most days. The a la carte options are all disappointing like a cold Spanish omelette with peas and potatoes, salty vegetable noodle soup and fried eggs that remind you of the worst Egg McMuffin you had in your childhood. The dinner is so good here and makes you wonder how the breakfast can be so bad as it seriously needs help.
Please take the tweaks as reccomendations to the hotel. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend friends or family to stay at this place. The pool, the views at the top and perfect location make up for any of the hotel's faults!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and were very disappointed. It's a lovely looking hotel, with a great rooftop pool and restaurant, however we were very disappointed with our room and the service. We stayed in the Suite, which is located on the 7th floor, directly beneath the restaurant. There's a lot of noise at night and early in the morning, chairs scraping on the floor, banging noises coming through the floor late into the night and when breakfast is being set up. And on one of the nights they had a live band upstairs which was very loud in our room. We were told that they would finish at 9pm however they continued playing until well after 10pm which made it very loud and unpleasant in our room. The hotel was very unapologetic for this, simply said restaurant guests wanted the band to continue so despite the disturbance to hotel guests they let the band and noise continue.
Also there is a glass door between the bathroom and bedroom, and no window coverings over the large bathroom window so the room itself was very light all night with city lights coming through, making sleep difficult. With light and the noise together we had two sleepless nights!!
Also by late in the afternoon housekeeping hadn't cleaned our room, so we asked for it to be cleaned, the came but unfortunately they didn't clean our coffee cups, or the floor (there was rubbish on the floor from the guest before us) or refresh our water which isn't a big deal in itself, but in addition to the other issues we had with the room it just added to the overall disappointing experience.
We definitely won't stay here again!!

The hotel room was clean, well-furnished, and comfy. The highlight of the hotel was undoubtedly the rooftop infinity pool, offering stunning views of the city and a relaxing lounge bar. The hotel's location is excellent, with remorques readily available outside to take you around the city with ease.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. It was my pick for its traveller rating and TA award. Another reason was its walking distance from the bus depot.
The hotel is beautifully designed. The room is clean and bed was comfortable. The check-in was smooth and friendly. The hospitality was personable.
I love the rooftop bar and sky pool. These offered a panoramic view of the city. For dinner, Khmer chicken curry and rice filled my stomach.
Overall, the stay was nice, except for three suggested recommendations.
1) I heard furniture dragging through the night. The guests above me must have moved their steel-legged chair on the tiled floor.
2) My room 101 has a faint ordour (cooked food or grease smell). The aircon, ceiling fan and aromatherapy fragrant oil candle must be kept on or burning to mask the odour.
3) The toilet flushing system was weak. Perhaps that is unique only to 101. Since it was only a night stay, I did not make a fuss. The housekeeping has been very helpful.
Overall, I would still recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Aquarius Hotel & Urban Resort, and it was an excellent experience. The hotel has a great location, making it easy to explore the surrounding area like the Royal Palace, National Museum, Independent Moument, and so on. The rooms were comfortable, good service, staffs were very friendly, the breakfast and the pool were amazing. when you get to the top of the hotel, you will see the nice views of the city. I am sure I will be back to stay at Aquarius again.

This was a gem of a hotel in a great central location, within easy access to all the main sites. The photos do not do the bedrooms justice and the rooftop pool is simply stunning! Restaurant and breakfast was very good with a wide selection. Hotel staff were very helpful and tuktuks right outside the hotel for easy transport around the city. Would definitely recommend.

Well-located hotel with charm. Very friendly welcome with a refreshing drink, quick check-in, clean, very nicely decorated and spacious rooms. Breakfast buffet with freshly made egg dishes of your choice or soups, etc. Fresh tea and coffee. Very friendly staff, very attentive. Half-open restaurant (also for breakfast) on the 9th floor with a beautiful view of the city. One floor above is the infinity pool and lounge to linger, have a nice drink in the evening and look out over the city. Laundry service is quick and good. Massages are also offered. They were really good too. I would recommend this tastefully decorated hotel at any time and would definitely stay there again. Thank you very much for the really very good service.

I stayed at Aquarius Hotel after a recommendation from a friend. I had booked a Deluxe Room and was kindly upgraded into a higher category room. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, good wifi, good shower and good sound insulation, I did not hear my neighbors at all. I very much enjoyed the pool on the roof of the hotel and the restaurant. The canapes menu is wonderful, especially when you are looking for a small snack. The only point of improvement I would say is the breakfast. A coffee machine would do well and a selection of bread. Otherwise I would say that this hotel offers value for money. The location is close to the Palace and a 10 minutes walk to the Mekong river. I would go back to this hotel any time.

You could easily stay here! Wonderful food and hospitality! Other then tours we never left because food and happy hour was so reasonable. We were here in March we had no problems finding a sunbed. Especially with few people traveling these days, it should be exceptionally easy! Have a wonderful vacation!

Hi well there were plenty of fruits and salads, we had omelettes freshly cooked with or without what ever you wanted... not sure if this would qualify for your selves, you could send them an email they are very helpful .. but it’s a fab hotel ... enjoy
