I have stayed in Promenade Hotel 12th Dec to 19 Dec with Family. The hotel is a Boutique Property and Exact Opposite to Boulevard. This Hotel is Few Steps Away from Maiden Tower & Old City. Hard Rock, Star Bucks, Georgian Beans, Nizami are hardly 4-5 Minutes walk away.

Breakfast was Good & All Restaurants Staff has Smiling Face. All staffs are very cooperative especially AYTAJ. She always have a Smiling Face. She has always Smiling Face and She has helped us a lot to understand nearby Locations as well. English Language is still a Big Challenge in Baku AYTAJ knows and Communicates very well in English. Whenever we came Reception Area, She always Greet with a Smile & always offer Chocolates to my Baby. God Bless Her.

I went with my friends and stayed for 4 nights. The idea of the hotel is great, the location is super, the staff is very responsive, always helpful, that’s the only reason I gave it a 3 (3+) and the renovation doesn’t seem to be too old. But! It feels like the hotel is not being looked after: a chair’s leg has fallen off, the curtains need to be washed, the plates are already shabby, etc. The room we lived in overlooked the roadway (it was our own fault, we didn’t specify this point initially, and they were the only ones with a balcony, and there were smokers among us). There is simply no sound insulation from the windows, plus there is a terrible smell of gasoline. Why haven’t we seen reviews about this anywhere...Additional upon arrival. the sleeping place (folding bed) was broken. Once again the responsive staff saved the day and replaced it after the call. TV has a limited number of channels, no cable - a couple of channels. We still didn’t figure out the climate system in the room; the temperature rose to +25 degrees, perhaps it just didn’t work. If you want hot water in the shower and sink, be sure to turn off the hygiene shower.
Breakfasts are held on the ground floor. There was a problem with cutting, it was always windy, although the hotel was full. The food, apart from the questionable cuts, is delicious. Boiled eggs, sausages, a couple of hot dishes (my friends really liked the stew with vegetables), a choice of omelette, dried fruits, honey in honeycombs, cottage cheese, cheeses, pastries. In general, the food alone can be given a 4. It’s filling, just what you need for long walks around the city. There is a restaurant with a view on the top floor, food was ordered to the room once, so I can’t judge.
Perhaps if we had lived in a room overlooking the courtyard, the impressions would have been different. Therefore, advice, check in advance where you will be accommodated!

Perfect location in Baku , 5 minutes to nizami Street ,old city & maiden tower is around the corner . Deniz mall is on opposite side of hotel (baku eye & boulevard, little Vince ) special thanks to Ms Gulnura & the reception staff as they have been very helpful. For families with kids rooms 310&311 are the best connected rooms for family of 6 as (two connected rooms with sitting area that has sofa bed) . One thing I didn’t like was the breakfast,( very humble yet basic things are there ) I think that they should really work on it ,but it won’t stop me from staying at Promenade again

This is NOT a five star hotel for sure! Its nothing like it's pictures. We got here by 2 pm but were told that our rooms weren't ready so we left our luggage and went out to explore. When we got back we were given a dark, small, smelly room which had an odour from the sewer. We tried to ignore this but after a couple of hours the smell became unbearable & we saw water coming up from the drain in the bathroom & this was at aroubd 12:30 in the night. The in-charge told us there was no one to help and he'll just place towels on the bathroom floor for the time being & we can think about moving in the morning! We had to be stern and request for a room change immediately which should've been offered to us by them. The reception staff were behaving as if the hotel was on high capacity..which it clearly wasn't! We finally got a room next door and managed through the night.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. For the price there are so many other options available around the area.

I am still in this hotel and expects to check out next day. First thing first, I booked 2 nights and the first room they allocated was 323. Noisy from karaoke or band till 11.30Pm even with soundproofing. The bed, kingsize but on the right side sank and if you were to roll to the left side you will feel it feels higher and also the design of the toilet is atrocious seemingly clean at a glance but look closer. The toilet hanger is so high up only tall people can reach the towels. I feedback and was given another room 325. It was better but cleanliness of toilet is still substandard. Next, I checked out after the 2nd night when I queried if I could stow my luggage in the hotel to stay in Sheki for 1 night. They accepted to store my luggage. The day after, I return to check in again for 1 more night and this is my last night in this country. When I enquired with the reception about my luggage, he went out of the reception went to the lobby corner and pull my luggage. I was horrified to see all these while it was not stowed properly in a store room but pushed at one corner of the hotel lobby out in the open where there is a lot of traffic. When enquired with the staff why is this so, he did not response and looked idiotic at me. When I arrived from Tbilisi I had encountered attempted theft from tbilisi airport and now this. This is too much stress for a holiday. The reason for choosing this hotel is because they are near the old city and they have a lift. Find elsewhere they have no regards for people's property.

Excellent location. Good breakdast. Wide bathroom. Average service. We stayed 5 nights in this hotel. Pay attention to the room type. A standard room, as we were told by the hotel staff, does not include a window.. so we had to add 20 usd a night for a room with a window.

Extremely poor service. The rooms are not heated given the cold weather. The staff is not helpful and takes their own time to respond. Small and very badly maintained rooms. Do not recommend.
We stayed there for three nights and all three nights the room was very cold. The staff even left the window opened after cleaning which just made it worse. They delayed the covid results as well which led to further panic. They are not at all cooperative and even after complaining we got zero response from them.

This property has a good location, but lacks on service.
They can’t get rooms cleaned by 3pm, or 4, or 5. Even when calling housekeeping and asking 3 times for over an hour, they are rude and only have excuses.

- If cleaning people manage to show up, they forget to leave towels (as in none).

- Restaurant has same issues. Over an hour wait.

This is not a 5 star hotel. The service is what you’d expect in USSR - none!

Hotel promenade Baku well does not pull of course on 5 stars, on 3 stars and then on blat. Even 2 or 3 hotels will have a hairdryer! No hair dryers in this hotel!!! They certainly hang, but here's the challenge they don't work for more than 30 seconds!!! Then you have to wait for min 15-20 it will work again (if you are lucky) for 30 seconds , and it smells like garia. And it wasn't only in our room that it was, even at the reception they said well, sorry we have such hair dryers in all rooms! And it's in a hotel in central Baku that I can't dry my hair 🤦‍’‸ this shame we've never seen before, but we travel a lot around the world. Let's move on. Breakfast in this hotel well it just couldn't get any worse, we went to restaurants for breakfast as the hotel doesn't even have coffee at breakfast!!! There's a burd of instant coffee in a bidon with a tap 😅 son said how in kindergarten they poured us. It's something like that, coffee-scented water. The room carpets smelly with huge stains of brown, linen bedding with holes 😅I don't really recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is good, rooms are a bit small, housekeeping staff are good, reception staff know English, the boulevard is right in front, old city right behind but the biggest disappointment was the breakfast staff. Very sorry to see customer being treated so badly. You ask for omelettes, you have to wait one hour, you go at 9 am on Sunday and they say sorry food is not available (crepe was over by 8:45 am). You complain on one day and on the next day, more food is not available , even fruits disappear. Sickening mentality . The sad part was even after complaining to the reception, the treatment the next day became worse. Very disappointed with the hotel. Go here only if you are booking only the room without breakfast.
