Good location with friendly staff. However, the hotel is little bit old and requires innovations. With proper innovation it will be much better. But overall experience was good. It’s located in the center of the activities in Baku with the stops of taxis just behind you.

I wouldn't rate this hotel as 5-star, but our experience was entirely adequate. Centrally located, the hotel was near to most tourist attractions in Baku. We chose to book the cheapest room, as it had a very attractive price. While it was well appointed, this was a mistake. The room was windowless and while spacious, was quite hot. My top tip would be to pay a little extra for a room with windows. This will make your stay exponentially better.

The venue of this hotel is fantastic. It is right in the heart of the city centre, on a very bustling street. There are shopping areas nearby and also the street is full of eating place.
The rooms allotted to us was not very spacious and we actually changed the room due to the dingy place offered to us first and then the AC's were not working and it got stuffy in the nights - so we asked for rooms with balcony where we could keep the balcony open. The team were very helpful and sorted this out for us
Breakfast was very basic and the exact same every other day.
The ladies at the reception were so friendly, especially Elnara and Nergis.

Rooms are very small and below average in interiors and facilities. There are no options for Vegetarian people excel few salads and limited fruits. Restaurant staff and Managers are non-cooperative and do not help Vegetarian or Jain people in breakfast. Not recommended to travel to this hotel if you are one of them.

After being in a legit 5 stars hotels in both gabala and Quba. Coming to this hotel that claims it’s a 5 star hotel is way beyond standard. The good things about this hotel, the location is in nazmi street and walkable distance to all other shops. The washroom is Arab-friendly if you know what I mean. However, the things that made my stay here unpleasant were the following. 1. The car cant reach the front of the hotel, so you need to walk with your own luggage. 2. The reception is always empty. 3. There’s no security or someone in the reception area, not safe, anyone can walk in and go up to the rooms. 4. The room we got was extremely small, you can barely put your luggage and walk. When I asked to be changed, Gulnara said you don’t pay for room size. Although when you book, the room size was mentioned in the description. Also, there’s a big difference in size between the rooms we got, one was 4 by 3 m2 and the other room is way smaller. *you can check the images for reference* 5. The towel was not clean, it was used. Also when I asked Gulnara that the towels were not clean, she had to send someone to make sure I was saying the truth. 6. Bed sheets and pillowcases were not clean. 8. Rooms are not noise proof. You can hear everything happening in the corridor. You can hear the footsteps of the people upstairs. 7. Door locks need to be changed. It is a hassle to open them every time and they are about to fall from the door. It’s hard to lock the room from the inside as well. 8. When I passed my comments to the receptionist Gulnara, she got defensive. And was not helpful to change the rooms even though many guests in front of me checked out.
It is my first time to write such a bad review but this is for my fellow travellers.

Not recommended at all.. i was happy with the warm welcome and the quick check in amazing staff the day of the check in i was so happy. After i was surprised with the extremely hot ac and complained about it 3 times and they did nothing about it. Also i ordered water and nothing came even when i called 3 times and different excuses were made each time such as ohh sorry we sent it to the wrong room and other lame excuses nothing that makes the hotel not deliver my water. The only good thing is the location thats it. Extremely disappointed as this is the first time this happens to me here in baku. Ive stayed in many other lower star hotels that were better service wise and ac.

So this was our 4th trip to baki. Having stayed at the top hotels in Baku, very last min we decided to check into Theatrum which is in the heart of Nizami street. U get out and it's restaurants and full of life. Rooms are good but make sure to go for the deluxe rooms. They hv a lovely restaurant right below. Their lobby and coffee shop area is gorgeous. Now the best part the staff / team - Front office manager Mr. Azer Mirzaliev who took care of us like we were VIPs. He was the most amazing manager we hv ever come across. Was helpful throughout and ensured we hd all the comfort during our stay right upto wen we were leaving. A smiling face always leave a mark on our minds n he is one of those. Another one on the list is Right, Gulnoor, Elnara, and the most outstanding security person who is always standing ensuring we are all safe. Thank you for the bful experience. Rest assured we r def coMing back to stay at this property just bcz of this wonderful team. Keep up the great work Azer as you are leading by example!

The hotel is located in the city center, close to restaurants, shops and cafes. It is also very close to the touristic places in Baku. There is a lovely lady at the reception who speaks fluent English and very helpful to me. The hotel also has a restaurant overlooking the street and serves all meals.
