Stayed here five nights with my girlfriend. Communication is this hotel's biggest fault since none of them spoke a word of English. Upon leaving we had asked them to arrange a taxi, which the receptionist promptly forgot, without a semblance of regret. We checked in early, which they only reminded us of the moment we were about to leave, meaning...

Great location and really nice staff. I went there during the F1 and their driver picked me up at the airport late at night. The driver called the hotel to let me know in English to not worry because of car inspection when got into the closed circuit to reach the hotel. Really appreciated. The location is just perfect and...

I spent 3 nights in this lovely little hotel, which is inside the walls of the old city and immediately adjacent to the Shah's Palace. I am a single female, traveling alone, and had a wonderful single room. It's within walking distance of both all the sights in the old city AND the fabulous park (Bulvar) that extends along the...

The hotel is situated inside the old city, which makes it very attractive to stay in. I have stayed in few hotels in the city centre before and Buta is the best so far. There are 9 rooms only. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's clean and quiet. One thing to keep in mind is that there are no...

Beautiful location in Old Baku. The staff is kind and helpful and the rooms are a good size for the individual traveler. Nice breakfast area with a view to the rooftops of Baku. WiFi was a bit too weak for my work purposes as it was slow and almost impossible to download documents, but perhaps this was specific problem to...

This is another old house in Baku's old town (Icheri Sheher) turned into one more guest house, one among many other renovated ones. The price is generally a bit lower than elsewhere, but it is obvious that the owner/manager (same person I think) does not really know how to - or does not want to - attract guests. There are...

Buta is a small guest house in a great location, in the old 'inner city' of Baku. Rooms are simple but adequate and the rooftop breakfast room has wonderful views. On the downside, wireless internet only worked in the reception area and it got rather cold in some rooms at night. Also, it was a bit of a hassle that...

First thing which I was told that next room to mine Pope Benedict where staying. It is a nice place, airconditioned, with good-speed wi-fi, TV-set. But things which make this place perfect - is that it is situated in amazing and the most sagnificant part of Baku - The Old City. You can spend hours walking on small streets, but...

We had really good time in Buta Guest House. It was a friend's birthday gift for us to stay there and we didn't have any idea where we were going since we couldn't find deep reviews about the hotel. The entrance of the hotel is quite dark and has a very oriental decoration at first sight but when we enter...
