We spent two nights in the hotel as part of a tour of Vietnam. The hotel has stayed true to its roots and contained so many lovely small touches that it is impossible not to be charmed by it. This goes far beyond the beautiful decor. Each evening the turndown service would leave a scroll on the bed with a...

You will be amazed when you walk into the lobby of this hotel - from top to bottom it oozes charm. Of course as soon as you see a beautiful lobby like that you start to think that the rooms are going to be a massive let down. However, when stepping into our room it was seriously stunning and that...

We stayed here for 2 nights in a quick stay in Hué (which was definitely not long enough). However the hotel is rich in history, having French influence from the previous colonisation. The pool area is very relaxing and the open courtyard serving breakfast and drinks is a lovely touch. The rooms are extremely spacious and well-equipped. Great location straight...

The staff here were as expected in Vietnam very nice, I was impressed with the size of this French styled hotel in Hue and was lucky enough to be there when they lit the foyer up with tea light candles. (From memory the last Sunday every month) I did not eat tea in the outside restaurant area but did have...

The rooms and setting were excellent and the bed comfortable. the furniture was in style and made the ambience relaxing. The pool and grounds were my favorite part of this hotel, to be able to take breakfast outside was just wonderful. Staff was friendly, food excellent and the halls were lined with vintage photos of the colonial days of Hue,...

This is the oldest hotel in Hue. Location is good: 5-10 minutes' walk to the touristy area and 10 minutes by taxi to the citadel. Rooms were spacious and luxurious. Waiting staff and front desk staff could do with a few classes in hospitality though. This was not what you'd expect from a hotel of this class.

The rooms were very large, very clean & well appointed. We had views over the river. The staff were helpful & friendly. The meals were in the garden, with good umbrella coverage from the sun. The ambience of the hotel was wonderful. We were able to relax. the lifts had a long window through which we could view the garden...

Upon arriving after midnight, the Night Manager was great as well as the Daytime Managers. The hotel is historic opened by a man from my region in France. The Staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The room was thoroughly cleaned and all personnel i inter-acted with was supremb. I took a cooking class there and it was fabulous. I got...

After traveling from HCM City, arriving very late in the morning, this was a true gem. The Night Manager and Managers during the day were spectacular. The hotel itself is a historical and beautiful place. I took a cooking class and was truly amazed with the chefs and the cuisine.

We stayed four nights in this wonderful, historic hotel. We had a luxury River View Room which was very spacious and comfortable overlooking the Perfume River and historic bridge. The staff were very helpful in arranging visits to the Emporers Mausoleums and also to the Naional Shrine at La Vang. We had dinner on our first night which was reasonably...
