Here, I managed to sleep! Saigon's District 1 is very noisy but this hotel was miraculously silent at night, as opposed to most hotels in the Bui Vien area. It is located in a side street off the main tourist/backpacker/party street. Great location to explore in the daytime and go out at night. One very little negative point: the breakfast... More

Very cheap hotel in the middle of everything. The room was very basic but clean. Tv, ac and fridge. Staff was very kind and helpful. We bought bus tickets to Da Lat and receptionist arranges also ride to bus station. Breakfast was enough; bread and omelette. We walked everywhere from the hotel.

Pretty decent hotel in District 1. Walking distance to the center of Saigon. Very friendly staff, clean room for a reasonable price. Not super luxurious, but really OK. Although breakfasts could be more diversified...

Located in backpacker central off an alley, which made for a quiet sleep. I stayed in Madam Cuc 127 after and it was very noisy bring right on a busy street. The beds were okay, bathroom was okay, and they did have breakfast, which was an egg and bread. If you're looking for a cheap, quiet place, this is a... More

Really friendly staff, very helpful. The hotel is in a great location, perfect for backpackers. Could be tricky to find as it is down a little side street but definitely keep an eye out for this place. Plenty of places to drink/eat literally round the corner.

Well located, just far enough down a short alley to defeat any traffic noise (2 mins walk to dozens of shops and restaurants, 15 min walk to the big market, 20 min walk to the war remnants museum and independence palace) Very friendly staff who were most considerate and happy to organise tours or simply to give you reliable advice... Very clean and a good location. Our room was small but for a couple of nights it was ok. Hot water in shower. Breakfast was good, you have to try their genuine lemon drink with breakfast. Better than coffee anyday.

We recently stopped for 6 nights at Madam Cuc 184 and really loved the hotel. The location is really great, as it is very close to many restaurants and bars in Bui Vien and around and not far from the other attractions. It's really close to Pham Ngu Lao bus station, which is really helpful, as you can get the... More
