Third stay at this hotel and again nothing short of amazing staff attentiveness, from GM Mr. Castel and duty manager Kien to all other staff we encountered during our stay. Knowledge of local restaurants and places to visit suggested by Kien were "on point". Perfect hotel to stay to explore Saigon.

I’ll start with the worst part first. On my last night at the hotel I had been out drinking with friends. Two of my friends wanted to make sure I got to my room so they escorted me up. Within a minute of arriving at my room security called to tell me they noticed two extra guests in my room. My friends had left right away after making sure I was ok so this shouldn’t have been an issue. I was absolutely furious the with the idea that the hotel hires someone to watch the cameras, determine how many people are assigned to the room then immediately call you to have you pay extra. It seems they should be spending their money on staffing to fix all of their other issues. I have stayed at many hotels in Saigon and this has never been a problem. At the very least this terrible policy should have been addressed at check in. I was not told about the guest policy. Nor was I given a written statement about this draconian rule. It makes me wonder what else they are monitoring via CCTV cameras. When I arrived at the hotel the staff were very friendly and attentive but otherwise I was somewhat disappointed when I got to the room. The room looked a little run down with large nicks, dents and scratches on most of the furniture. The currents are difficult to open and close. The towel holder in the bathroom was about to fall off the wall. The end tables are not even on the top so glasses slide right off of them. The bathroom layout is awkward at best with very poor lighting. The shaving mirror light did not function at all. The first floor smelled of sewer pretty much every day. Although the staff were friendly they were not up to par. I called the front desk at 7am asking for a late check out. I was told they need to ask management to approve a late check out so they would call me back. Almost every hotel I have ever stayed in can tell me an immediate yes or no when asked for a late check out but I guess different rules apply at the Pullman. At 11am I still had not received a call back about my late check out request so I called the front desk and made the request again. This time they called back with a response right away. I had an underwhelming lunch in the restaurant on the first floor. I paid with my credit card. When I got up to leave the other waiter chased me down asking me to pay. It took me some time to explain to him I had already paid. Once he actually looked at the computer he apologized to me. I assume he would have looked at the register first but I guess not. I definitely do not recommend staying here especially if you like privacy.

Had a great time at Pullman and since we were on our honeymoon - they made it extra special by upgrading us to a room with executive lounge access and extra treats everyday. Thank you team for making it so so memorable. The Hotel GM (whose name i forgot) and Trang-Nhu were specially very cordial & helpful. Will definitely visit again :))

This review is for my 4-night stay from 30 May to 3 June 2022 as an Accor Platinum status member. Check-in was performed at the front desk located on the ground floor, and was done in a relatively efficient and speedy manner. As with other similar level Accor properties, I was expecting to be escorted to the Executive Lounge for the check-in process due to my Platinum status, but this wasn't the case. I later found out that the Executive Lounge was not quite ready to perform check-in's as it was only recently re-opened after being closed due to Covid19. As of now, I believe the EL is fully functional. My room was upgraded to what seemed like the next category up, which included a decent size bathtub and a coffee machine (that was never used due to my access to the EL). The included toiletries were of decent quality; good enough to be used for 4 consecutive days. The view of the city from my room was as good as it gets. High marks too for the housekeeping team. My room was cleaned promptly daily, and as a Platinum member, I utilised the complimentary laundry service every day, and my clothes were promptly returned on the same evening with no issues. I had the opportunity to enjoy the buffet breakfast on most mornings at the in-house buffet restaurant called Food Connexion. The range on offer was more than adequate for most people, with a choice of typical western dishes as well as a sample of popular local dishes. The restaurant staff were all fantastic and eager to assist. Due to time constraints, I was unable to make use of the pool and sauna, but they looked like they were in good working order. The highlight of my stay would have to be the staff in the Executive Lounge, who all left a lasting impression on me. All of the EL staff I had the pleasure of meeting went above and beyond to ensure that I was well looked after. I'd like to specifically mention the EL manager, Ms Anh, as well as Mr Tuan, who both displayed an exceptional level of customer service. They are assets not only to the Pullman brand, but also to the hospitality industry. Keep up the great work. I also had the opportunity to have a chat with the GM, Benjamin. I was impressed with not only his professionalism, but also his approachable and humble qualities. I sincerely wish all the best for Benjamin and his team at the Pullman Saigon Centre, and I hope to be able to visit again when I next visit Saigon.

We only spent a day at the Pullman but got to check out the rooms, their service, the burger bar downstairs and the pool. All were first rate and we were very well looked after as Accor members when we arrived. The hotel is well situated near a lot of the tourist spots and markets and the room was excellent.

I am here at HCMC for a week on both business and pleasure. Had the famly tagged along. Rooms are reasonably sized and other than some adjustment to getting a borderless toilet ( yes there are no walls but only blinds ), really enjoyed the quality furnishings ( Hansgrohe, one cannot go wrong :) ) in the showers. The TV box however had issues in all 3 of the rooms we were booked in. Staff came to help rectify the issue but it was an impossible task. The manager Ms Anh was very kind to change our rooms and made sure that our needs were attended to. We were moved up to the Exec floor and the lounge services was impeccable. Special mention to Ms Trang for taking care of my family very well. The front desk reception staff speaks good English and are forthcoming to help with ideas on where the next place to visit could be. Travel-wise, GRAB is good to go anywhere. Hotel is situated in a good location with Saigon Centre, Saigon Square and Vincom Centre all within 10 min away. There isn't many food choices around the hotel vicinity so do be prepared to travel out if you would want to venture for some bites and meals. Breakfast spread is reasonable but gets predictable by the 3rd day though. I still have a few more days here but am quite sure that the stay will be pleasurable.

We decided to splurge and book the executive suite for 9 days and after 2 months in Vietnam, we can easily say this is the worst 5 star hotel in Vietnam. It is the worst 5 star we've ever stayed in, we've had 3 star hotels that were better. Here is the list of Grievances we experienced: 1. When we arrived the bell boy took our luggage and forgot to take it to our executive suite. We had to call the desk 45 minutes later and request for our luggage. 2. The mini-fridge was broken, but after 1.5 hours of back and forth with the front desk the technician assured us that the refrigerator is a "warm refrigerator" and is not cold. We requested that the fridge be replaced and sure enough the fridge was cold. 3. The HDMI wall plug was broken. We called to ask for someone to fix it and an hour later no one came. We had to call again and after 30 minutes someone finally came. 4. The shower nozzle was broken, but we we're so tired of the hotel at this point we decided to let it go. The hotel gave us trouble 5 days in when my girlfriend invited some relatives over, and we pointed out the shower nozzle was broken. Sure enough it was and required fixing. 5. On day 2 of our stay, the room cleaning stole 250,000 VND from the table. We even walked in on them cleaning and they didn't say a word or ask if it was a tip. (tips here are 10-20k VND, not 250,000 VND). We reported it to the front office and no one did anything. We asked about it in person later on after dinner and then someone stepped in to check. Sure enough, the room cleaning did take the 250,000 VND and returned it to us saying "Sorry, first day, didn't know". 6. Executive suite allows 4 articles of clothing to be cleaned per day, and twice after we requested for our clothes to be delivered to our door, they forgot. We had to ask them in person to drop it off and only then did they do so. 7. Light switches are confusing and takes a lot of guessing to get right. I'm a software engineer and I'm pretty technical, but its very difficult to turn on the lights. 8. Breakfast buffet taste like a cheap buffet. This isn't a complaint really but usually 5-star hotel buffets do not taste like buffet food, it taste like restaurant food. 9. Not the hotel's fault but it is more difficult to get a Grab car here due to the location and there are less Grab cars around this area. 10. Guests are not allowed to stay over, even though I booked the executive suite and on the website it allows 4 people. 11. Guests are not allowed to use any of the amenities, even if you have 2 rooms booked, only people listed on the booking can use the pool.
