The title says it all. I’d rate no star. Even thought the location is good, it’s old and not well maintained. The staff can’t speak English much even though I tried complaining. To top it off the pick up that was arranged by the hotel dropped me off at a wrong location and argued with me that it is the right one. And in the I’ve killed 6 baby roaches and bugs and silverfish on the last 2 nights that I was here. The end.
This place serves good lunch buffet bu t I feel that the spread is too little. If you are keen to try balut, go ahead!
Balut is a developing bird embryo that is boiled and eaten from the shell. It originated from and is commonly sold as street food in the Philippines. Often served with beer, balut is popular in Southeast Asian countries, such as Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam.
The staff here is also less attentive and tends not to pay attention.
This hotel is in a very good location, city center district 1 and very easy access to everywhere. The name of this hotel though is misleading and the web page doesn’t give the real description. The building is quite old and the rooms are small and also outdated.
The front desk service is very slow both in check in and check out, it seems like the department is running by interns. The breakfast welcoming is average and the design as well equipment is old, plates and cutlery stained. There is enough variety of selection, yet the replenish was not done regularly especially the fruits area. The coffee cups are very small, larger size or take away cups are not available. Service level is low and the employees are not attentive at all compared to other areas of the city which is welcoming in general.
Noisy. Old. Unprofessional staff. Don't book here! All night there was some tannoy across the road repeating 'Food here or something or the like. Look around for newer and better hotels. Plus the room smelt musty and the aircon was poor.

I'm not sure, but I can tell you there is a decent amount of International restaurants in the area since the hotel is right in the center of downtown, but most of them are serving western food. In the "backpackers district" of Ho Chi Minh, just southwest of the hotel, they have a lot more options for international food, like I remember seeing a Brazilian restaurant. Good luck
