So this place was just bad. For a whole bunch of different reasons too, which I'll list below. If you don't want to be conned, read below and avoid this place. Noise - construction was going on from 7am to midnight everyday. Drilling vibrations could physically be felt in our rooms. Hotel staff did nothing on the three occasions we...

This is not a nice hotel. The rooms are postage stamp sized making it difficult to live out of your suitcase. In the breakfast room it was evident that management was not around as the staff were intently watching a King Fu type movie and/or texting on their phones. Keep looking for another place.

The room had a window over looking stairs with a light on all night so the room was lit up all night. The room was so small you can only have one suitcase open at a time. The shower had very very hot water or freezing cold no half way, when I told the reception they just laugh at me....

The staff are more interested in watching the TV at breakfast and in reception rather then helping guests. I asked for more towels which never arrived. The rooms have no natural sunlight and a view of the stairwell.Breakfast is more of a poor lunch buffet, less chips and pizza more fruit would have been great. Positives are the location and...

Arrived at the hotel early in the morning after a sleeper train so had to have a wander around the city. Hotel staff were okay, efficient but not that friendly. We decided to book a tour, through the hotel, of the Chu Chi Tunnels for a 7am start so thought an early night would be needed. Little did we know...

We only stayed here for 1 night (thank god) apparently we got a free room upgrade the lady on the desk told us as our room wasn't ready as we arrived earlier than check in time. If this was an upgrade i'd hate to see what the original room was like. The room smelt of smoke really bad i thought...

Hotel was noisy, building work next door went on through the night.rooms are small especially if you have a suitcase each. Beds are also noisy. Breakfast was poor, regularly ran out of food and milk. Seating area for breakfast was not large enough for hotel. Location of hotel is good.

Hotel and the rooms was like something out of "faulty Towers" it felt like there was no glass in the Windows, so noisy couldn't sleep all night. Staff were friendly but that's the only good thing about the hotel!

Cheap and cheerful, clean and good location - very near the night markets. Staff had little English but tried to help. No noise problems for us. The showers were barely adequate, breakfast was ok although tended to run out. The tour operator below the hotel seemed to be part of the same business and again, tried to be helpful -...

For the money, I think that the Hong Hac Hotel is a decent hotel. The location is quite good as you can walk to many of the sights. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is okay - nothing to rave about. As for my room - it was just so-so. They bathroom was decent - nice shower w/excellent water...
