The rooms are clean and neat, although there is not much of a view from the small window. Facilities include mini bar, safe, room service and free in room wifi. The Ben Thanh Markets is virtually right in front of Lavender Hotel, and the hotel is within walking distance Tao Dan Park, Reunification Palace and to the west the "back...

Lavender Hotel was a perfectly fine place to stay. It is a 3 star hotel trying to come off up-market and they do an ok job. The breakfast is included and is tasty- some authentic food and some continental food like toast and eggs. It is located right next to the major markets on a busy road. However we had...

We stayed here for eight nights, so we got the least expensive room they had: about $50 ai on Agoda. The room was small and with no window -- well, with a false window with painted glass -- but was clean and comfortable. There was no bathtub, only a shower, but it was a good solid shower with ceramic tile...

Lavender Hotel is located right opposite the Cho Ban Thanh market where you can find decoratives, fruits, flowers, coffee beans, lotus seeds and cashew nuts for a bargain. The hotel room is not large but is very clean and well maintained. It is surrounded by street stalls and Saigon Center where one can find 5 star hotels and exquitive boutiques...

I am writing this review from the Lavender Hotel right now. This is our last night tonight. Rooms are a bit small, however it has been quiet. A nice restaurant on the rooftop and reasonably priced. The breakfast is basic but clean and fresh. We have encountered a few small problems, they gave my husband and I, 2 x single...

This is a good budget boutique hotel. The location is perfect with the Ben Thanh market right across the street. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. We had breakfast at the restaurant every morning which was palatable. If you are looking for a good place to stay with friendly staff, a good restaurant and a great location plus you...

Plus points -Great location, bang in city centre. Great value for money. Rooms clean with rooftop restuarant. Staff very helpful. Minus points - Was allocated room with a 'fake' outside window. Insisted on being moved to another room which they finally agreed but window almost pothole size. Think this is nature of building so be warned. Also a little confusion...

Very efficient check-in desk; however, their language skills limited to Vietnamese and passable English (doorman speaks Cantonese as well). Location is definitely spot-on: only 10 m from the BenThanh market, diagonally across the street. Everything else is walkable on a leisurely stroll. As the title says, room 307 has a faux window. It's sealed shut because it faces into the...

I went in end November and the hotel I normally stay in when I'm in HCMC was not available this time round, so this was the alternative we got. It's still around the area I always stay though - District 1 - and this is a really good area to stay in if you want to experience more of the...

Otherwise not noteworthy. The hotel bills itself as a boutique hotel but in reality it is a business hotel. Breakfast was not memorable.
