Arrived here early morning and asked for room. Was given one without a window AND without lights. Guest the previous night had damages them. They said they would fix (which they did). Room very basic with old style CRT television. Bathroom very grubby but I was too tired to complain and did not expect much anyhow. Location is down an... More

Located at the middle of District 1, so upon drop off along Pham Ngu Lao St. you must ask someone for the way. Perfect for a budget traveller like me. You can always ask the receptionist for any assistance you need. Like we ask for hot water in the morning for coffee. If you are sensitive of the noise, its... More

Although not the easiest place to find we thought this place was good value in a pricey (by Vietnmese standards) area. Located in the middle of district one it has all of the cities best sights within waling distance and a host of travel agents to book trips or onward travel with. We left one of our bags in a... When the taxi dropped us near Thuan Duc I already thought that staying in that hotel was bad idea, but after cultural shock I would highly recommend this place, especially if looking for budget accomodation. The rooms were pretty clean although the maid didnt clean them properly, but did ont harass me a bit. The hotel is on excellent spot... More

I got here quite late I was exhausted after a mad day dealing with Vietnamese officials and just needed sleep. The ac is modern in room (103) but the compressor has been disconnected to make it look as if it is working, all it does is circulate air. I was too tired to complain and I figured none of the... This hotel is in a great location im HCM city. It is down An alleyway so make sure you have proper directions if you are arriving by foot. The hotel is nice and run by friendly people. They even held our bags overnight while we went on a tour. The room was basic but bigger than alot of budget rooms... More

The location is perfectly placed in the heart of the backpackers district with loads of shops and Restaurants everywhere. Plus it's inside of the alleys which is great because you don't hear any of that noise from the Street. We didn't like to hear all our neigbours (especially the Karaokeguy all night above us) because the walls are very thin.... More

Friendly staff speaking good English. We stayed here for three nights. We paid 11 USD for a clean room with airco and private bathroom, on the 4th floor. Located in a little ally but location on Tripadvisor is accurate enough. For the first nights in Vietnam it was a good start, although the neighborhood is quite touristy and crowded.

Thankfully I stayed here at the end of my Vietnam visit, having been to Saigon previously. It is situated in a fun part of town, with great bars and restaurants. Unfortunately there are better hotels for a comparable price. The rooms feel like cells, and the bathrooms are basic. It is impossible to escape the damp. Better accommodation can be... More
