This is my 2nd stay in the hotel. The staff are wonderful, very helpful and warm. Lan, the manager remembered my family’s names and would check to see how we are doing whenever she saw us. The other staff too are very personable and would go the extra mile to make our day. I took the family suite and it was big and homely. We loved to chill by the window whenever we got back to the room. The breakfast was also good with a selection of local and western choices. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Hanoi because of the excellent service, warm touches and clean big rooms at a very reasonable price. On a side note, the hotel arranged a SUV to send me to the airport (400k dong) which is very reasonable considering that it cost me 399k dong for Grab (it is similar to Uber) from airport to hotel in a small Hyundai car that could barely fit 2 luggages (this model is popular Grab car). Grab from hotel to airport was around 350k dong for a small car.

I cannot say enough good things about the Marvellous Hotel, whose staff really live up to the name. I'm not normally someone who leans on others to make my travel arrangements. But when I arrived at the hotel from a very long series of flights exhausted and jetlagged, not speaking a word of Vietnamese and frustrated to learn that the overnight cruise I had booked in Ha Long Bay following my stay had been abruptly cancelled, the staff went above and beyond to assist. Jolie and Lizzie were immensely patient and helpful in getting me a booking on a day cruise, giving me an extra day at the hotel, intervening on the phone to help me get my train time rescheduled after that (with a discount for the forfeited earlier ticket) and making sure a cab was waiting on my return from the cruise to take me to the train station. When I had difficulty getting money from the nearby ATM, another of the staff walked me over a couple of blocks to another one. I've never felt so genuinely cared for at a hotel, to the point of them tucking me into that cab at the curb and telling me they'd been worried about me! As it turned out, I had a great time in Hanoi and very much enjoyed the comfortable bed, quiet air con, excellent breakfast (served with an orchid garnish!) in an airy upper floor space and generally clean and quiet atmosphere, a convenient haven from the hectic atmosphere in the old city. I highly recommend this hotel!

We based ourselves in this hotel for 9 nights, taking trips out of Hanoi but leaving our belongings behind. We had a lovely room - it had no window but it was perfect as there was no street noise. Comfortable beds and luxury shower room. The staff were amazing and so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is just ten minutes from Hoan Kiem Lake, and five minutes from 'Train Street'. There were loads of different restaurants nearby as well as shops and cafes. I'm not sure if the restaurant in the hotel was open as we ate out all of the time. We also had a wonderful massage which revived our sore bodies afters days of walking! I recommend this hotel highly.

It was the first time we visited Vietnam. Being very skeptical about the country we found a really helpful guide in Jolie and the hotel staff. They helped us navigate our trip and ensured we were at comfort. The hotel staff is a perfect example of the warmth and compassion of Vietnamese people. Located at the centre of the city, we were able to navigate on foot throughout. Now in my next visit to Vietnam, I know which hotel to book without any hesitation :)

I stayed in the Hanoi Marvellous for 3N at the start of a trip to Vietnam. I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and keen to help out. The location is really good - in a central location for the Old Quarter and also for the government district to the North East. Many key Hanoi tourist attractions located very close by. The restaurant isn't currently open, which I figured was due to a lack of tourist and traveller traffic over the covid period - I'm sure this will be open up again for breakfast etc once things become busier. Highly recommended, and all for a reasonable price.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast on the upper floor was delicious and well presented. Located in a great neighborhood with plenty of shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. I booked this because of Tripadvisor reviews and was not disappointed. I would definitely stay here again!

I must say that I love absolutely everything about these hotel. The location is great, in the center of the city, near the French Quarter, the hotel and the rooms are beautiful, the beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is included, you also have an “early bird” take away option. The restaurant is excellent, with amazing view of the city. The staff is amazing, very kind and very helpful. I would love to stay again in these hotel and I would strongly recommend it.

We loved staying at the Hanoi Marvellous Hotel. The staff was welcoming and helpful in getting us acclimated to the city, finding tours and giving us directions to local sites. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms are modern with great water pressure! Great location!

Following the recommendation of an Australian family I met in Halong Bay in December 2019, I stayed at the Marvellous Hotel on two occasions at the end of February 2020. One stay was for three nights and the second stay was for two nights and were part of the same trip. I was warmly welcomed with delicious fruit tea and Oreo cookies. My first room was tasteful furnished and very pleasant. It had a fruit basket, a map of Hanoi (very useful!), a most comfortable large bed and a bathroom stocked with amenities. My only complaint is my window was quite small (and located on one side of the room) and therefore my room tended to be quite dark at all hours of the day. This impression was reinforced by the dark wooden floor. I mentioned this upon check out and when I came back to the hotel a week later, I had been upgraded to a beautiful, very large room with a sitting area and huge floor to ceiling windows! I was delighted and didn’t want to have to leave my room ever again!! I spent many lovely hours in a comfortable armchair reading my book in the sun. Thank you Mr.Leo 🙏🏻! The breakfast buffet is very good. It features both a hot and cold buffet plus some a la carte dishes. The banana pancakes are a must try! So yummy!! I appreciated the fact that they were offering soy milk, brown toast and baguette and many different kinds of teas. Despite the central location within the Old Quarter, both of my rooms were very quiet. Hotel Marvellous is definitely well worthy of its name and there is no doubt I would stay here again if I came back to Hanoi. The value for money is unbeatable. Thank you for everything Mr.Leo 😊!!
