We had the room on the highest floor, and besides the climb up (which did our bodies well, even if we didn't enjoy it!) It was a lovely stay. The bed was genuinely the comfiest bed we've slept in since coming to south east Asia. It was quiet and the WiFi worked perfectly for the majority of the time. The...

The room itself was decent enough. However it was on the very top floor (I counted 7 stories). There were no elevators and the stairs for the top 3 stories were not lit, so I had to climb the stairs in the dark which was dangerous. The room door had no door knob and there was a hole where anyone...

We stayed 4 nights at Kangaroo hotel and it was a very nice stay. The staff were very accommodating. They all speak good English and answered all of our questions on tours etc. Perfectly located in the old quarter, the hotel/hostel is just a few minutes walk from all of the good bars and restaurants. The room was clean, spacious...

I've reall enjoyed staying this hotel. Good location and nice people. I recommend you vietnam rice noodle shop near this hotel, you fan find there it is far just 10 meters from this hotel. And not too far to go to beer street and night market.

the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. they give good suggestions what do to. we could leave our luggage there for a few days during we were on a short trip. the rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. the only thing which is a shame is that it is poorly soundproof. apart from that everything is cool here!

We've stayed here a few times. The first couple of times we had no problems and even stayed over a week whilst we searched for more permanent accommodation. The breakfast is nothing special, but you get what you pay for. Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience returning though. I'm pretty certain the standards are slipping as we had to...

We stayed here for two nights. You get everything you need. The bathroom is clean, the wifi works good! The beds are comfortable. Front office people are very nice and helpful. The location is pretty nice, from here you get to all the most important points of interest very quick.

Nice little hotel right in the heart of the old quarter. We had a front room on the road side with a balcony which was nice to people watch. Staff really friendly made and helped recommend a great Halong Tour excursion. Lots of places offer the tours and some a little cheaper than we paid but I had heard some...

Well, Kohei and i visited Hanoi without any hostel booking. We arrived in Hanoi after we took bus for 26 hours from Laos. That night was cold and we had walked around to found room. All hostels are full booked for dormitory. Others offered us highest price with private room. We didnt need it. And finally, we found Kangaroo Hostel,...
