One of the best hotels in old quarter. All the major sites are within walking distance. Rooms are very clean and comfy. Special shout out to Hang Pham from the staff. We did not have too much planned in Hanoi when we stayed and she took care of EVERYTHING from booking tours to recommendations on where to eat. Truly a 5 star service

If you're first to Hanoi, Vietnam, I strongly recommend this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and the manager Thanh Hang was very kind and helpful. Me and my friends had a good time there. Wish I could visit there another time!

Everything was great and the hotel staff was extremely helpful, especially Phu Nguyen. The hotel is nicely located in Pho Co which allows us visitors to fully immerse in our Hà Nội experience. Our rooms were comfortable, the food was good, and the service was excellent. We can't wait to come back for another visit!

Nice, small boutique hotel. Room and environment very clean, all the staffs are very friendly and helpful especially Phu Nguyen. The breakfast bar is yummy with wide variety of food, I especially love their coffee bar.

Staff are wholehearted in the work they do and in the hotel they represent. From the door man, check-in, restaurant, housekeeping and all in between, all we encountered the service and sincere willingness to help with everyone we encountered was phenomenal. The condition of the hotel and room accommodations were exceptional. The daily breakfast buffet was diverse and filled with great options- I recommend the chicken pho and yogurt. We relied on the breakfast buffet to get us through the day, which it did! The hotel provided our family a serene and homey environment where we all can unwind and relax from the often bustling days we had in Hanoi. Staying on the top floor of the hotel, we could hear faint remnants of music from the rooftop bar at night- though nothing enough to disturb our sleep. Highlights during our stay: 1) Birthday cake: The day we checked into the hotel was my mother's birthday- nobody from our party shared this with the hotel staff. After freshening up after check-in we all decided to sit in the lobby to prepare to walk around the streets where we were surprised with a birthday cake. The music in the lobby suddenly played the "Happy birthday" song where staff came out with a lit birthday dessert to provide my mom. How did they know about the birthday? We think it was through the check-in process where we all provided our passports. For the staff to notice this and take time to celebrate was surreal. I believe Hoang was one of the staff members who helped us check-in and provide us the celebration / cake. 2) Housekeeping: The housekeeping staff were courteous and detail oriented. We were spoiled with spotless rooms everyday. We did want to thank "Mai" for her help with keeping our room tidy and assisting us with our laundry needs 3) Above and beyond: At the time of checkout, we realized someone in our party lost an item in a bus driver’s car we were previously in 6 hours outside of Hanoi. Frantically trying to track this item down, we vented our frustration to the staff member during check out and what she did to help us track the item down was truly above and beyond. Despite her busy workload, Hang took the time to call the hotel we were previously in to find out who the bus driver is, ask the bus driver to drop the item off the La Siesta and finally help us find out details needed to ship back the item to us. Most of this coordination from Hang was done after we checked out and communicated to us through messaging. The time and commitment Hang put in helping us find this item leaves us beyond words and nothing but thanks to her and the team at the La Siesta. …

The 2nd time I stayed in La Siesta Ma May as the service by Ms Hang last year has impressed me. Felt the same level of sincere and personalized service this time by all the staff. They ensured we get to know how to get around Hanoi by providing a map of old quarter and a list of recommended restaurants and shops. Staff Mr Thanh Duong also helped us made a reservation for a popular restaurant which we wanted to go to.

My friend and I stayed here and absolutely loved it! Seriously the best service I've received at a hotel in a long time. All of the staff were so kind and friendly, and really made sure we had everything we needed everyday. Breaakfast every morning was delicious, and the staff provided us with lists of different places to try around Hanoi. Thanh and his team were absolutely amazing, and we can't wait to come back one day.
