Very nice hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi. The rooms are new, clean and confortable, and above all the staff is really friendly and helpful...just ask and they'll do their best for you! One of the best breakfast we had in Vietnam. Recommended.

I do alot of travelling to Hanoi on a lowish budget and stay at the Queen 2 hotel in Tuc Bac street.( Bear in mind there are several queen and queen 2 hotels in Hanoi and are not linked and therefore of varying quality). This hotel is great. The rooms are very clean,( they did some renovations recently so many of... More

I am very surprised about the earlier reviews. The staff were very very friendly. We (2 pax) arrived at 7 am., normally too early to book into a room. Were offered a free breakfast and then shown a twin room costing only USD 15. The room was on the 5th floor, yes, there is no elevator but the room was... More

The hotel is located in a great location, within walking distance to all major attractions in Hanoi. The staff is super friendly and the hotel is mostly clean, but it's nothing special; it was the cheapest hotel that I stayed at on my southeast asia trip, and I would say that it was money well spent. The girl running the... More

The location of the Queen II is very good, you are already in the Old Town and only a few minutes walk to the Lake. BUT There is no elevator so good luck if you stay at a higher floor. Our room looked at first sight ok, but if you took a closer look at the linen and pillows, they... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in Oct/08 and had a perfectly 'average' experience. For the price, the rooms are adequate (size, cleanliness), the location is very convenient, and the staff were reasonably professional. I have no real complaints. FYI, the hotel has 5 floors, but no elevator. If you don't mind not having a window, ask for... More

We booked this hotel from Hanoi Airport. At first the staff seem young and friendly and helped us book a trip to Halong Bay and a night train to Danang for a few days later. On the day of our departure it turns out the "manager" had not booked our train tickets yet, thus our intended train was fully booked... More

Be aware that there are several Hanoi Queen hotels. I noticed that the photo of the front of this hotel is NOT the correct hotel. The Hanoi Queen 2 (or Queen Plaza) is on Hang Can. It is terrrible! The duvet covers do not appear to be washed on a regular basis, there was a mouse in my room, the... More

I booked this hotel based on location and price. It was very inexpensive and close to the lake. The room was very large and the standard room had both a queen and a single bed in it. Plus, the television had a DVD player. There was a full bath in a large bathroom. However, the bathroom was oddly linked to... More

Rubbish! Noise from 6:30am till 6:30am. Super noisy!!!! Young punks operating the hotels, no ideas about anything. It's ok clean but that's all about it.
