Our 6th hotel in 2 weeks on this holiday and by far and away the worst. Small room, luckily we were upgraded. Restaurant and bar area were poor quality and dirty. Breakfast not good and nothing left the second morning. Wifi poor - we were told to leave the door open to get a better signal! Would not go back...

Our room faced the park and despite the constant traffic, the noise was dampened by the additional glazing. The hotel is located centrally with easy access to the old town. The staff were really friendly and there was plenty of choice for breakfast which is taken on the eleventh floor with great views of the city.

Location: very near to the downtown so nice to walk - as long as you can survive the motorbike trafffic. Many shops and restaurants are close by. The double set of windows do a pretty good job of muffling the street noise if your room faces the street. Room: nice clean basic room with a firm but comfortable bed. Lots...

Nice small hotel in centre of Hanoi. Although it is situated on a main road once you are in the hotel you do not hear the traffic and there is a lot of traffic. The double glazing is very good. The breakfast was on the top floor so you had a view of the city while eating your breakfast. There...

I loved my time in Hanoi and the Hotel Anise was part of the reason. The hotel is in the old quarter of Hanoi and right near most of the city's main attractions and markets. The room was comfortable and because mine faced the back, I did not have to deal with the noise of all the scooters and the...

Our tour operator booked us day rooms ahead of our night flight out of Vietnam. Luckily we didn't have to stay in our room, which had no window. It was clean enough and the bathroom worked ok and no one nicked our stuff while we were out. So it could have been worse, but I wouldn't fancy it overnight. Looking...

Firstly let me just say this, the staff in this hotel are very friendly, so a big shout out to them if they are reading this... The room is very spacious with a king size bed that is very comfortable.. the bathroom however was not that modern and needed a refurb. The buffet breakfast is amazing! noodles and rice along...

We had a large, very comfortable room with a great bathroom and a view over the small park opposite. Beautiful murals on the walls. Delightful, helpful staff all with a lot of character. Excellent breakfast with different hot dishes each day. Great, quirky bar downstairs. We came back after a week up north and were treated like old friends. I...

A well positioned, good standard hotel in Hanoi just a 10 min walk from the historic Old Quarter. The views across to the local park where people do their early morning exercise is a bonus. Breakfast is served on the 11th floor. The choice is good and some seating areas afford good views. The rooms are en suite and clean...
