We booked a private room here which was on the 7th floor & it was huge!! Amazing room with a view, clean, comfy bed, hot water, tv, safe, huge bathroom with toiletries. Good wifi connection also. We only intended on staying here 1 night but actually ended up staying 4 as it suited everything we needed. The price included breakfast...

HBH is a good hostel to stay in Hanoi. The hostel is huge, which can make it unpersonal. The organisation is good and professional. I stayed here several nights, with their famous Castaways tour in between, and after Sapa I even spend some time in their other location. They organize a lot to improve the atmosphere and the price includes...

We stayed at both the Original and Downton Hanoi Backpackers and were pleased with both our stays. We arrived at original first and were greeted by really warm and friendly staff who helped us out after a very long day of travelling. The dorms were good, clean and tidy with space to put your belongings. We did the Castaway tour...

I think if you want super cheap and your on a budget this is good... The beds are clean and lockers are good. Bathroom is huge with multiple showers but serving 25-30 people so privacy is not great. The night I was there is was a 10 year party mayhem and they got it all wrong and woke me up...

Located in a small laneway near the Catholic Church, blink and you will miss it! Make sure you have a map handy to find it. Don't even worry about the other hostels in the area for $5 a night as this is the place to be. Travelled with a school group of 17 people. Turned up at 7am after a...

Private rooms were over priced for a hostel. But then rest of the stay was good. Pretty much a quite place by the rooms, but then downstairs was usually very active. This is a good place to go to get you barrings, and to have a good time with other travelers. Great location and amazing staff. I would deff recommend...

This is a well organised party hostel for sure. There are events on every night with great guides to help you on your way through the Hanoi night life. The tours are also very well organised. I went on a Halong Bay Castaways tour and again - a party tour for sure. I stayed in a double room which was...

I spent couple of days here it was ok wasnt cheap for a private room, though dorms were cheap. Breakfast wasnt great. The service time taken by staff to check in & out was terribly long.Lifts were taking too long too.The bar downstairs was fine would attract decent crowd . You can definitely find a better private room elsewhere for...

The hostel itself is very nice and clean with good amenities and has both a dining room and a rooftop bar. Some of the staff leave a little to be desired but for the price, you can't complain too much. This hostel is a bit of a party hostel though. They have a pub crawl every night so expect to...
