Arrived 9 am tired after long flight and no sleep and were promised access to room at 10 am, so waited and finally no room until 1 pm. Rooms were a good size, but showerhead was broken so that water squirted everywhere and on second day water was cut completely for several hours without warning so no toilet or shower...

Paid $150 for a suite, but I had asked for non smoking and when we arrived it was a smoking suite - I should have complained, would have, but we had already unpacked and it was a long long trip before. I could deal with it for a night, but beware. The room is nice and clean, and big, the...

Haivenu travel agents in Vietnam organised our holiday , they did an excellent job. We stayed at Quoc Hoa Hotel on our first few nights and then again on our return from Halong bay . We had a deluxe room with a balcony which was as good as any 5 star hotel. Lovely staff , cute little bar , excellent...

We stayed here for our first night in Hanoi on honeymoon. It's cheap and we had a nice room. It is right in the old quarter, so walking out of the hotel at night has all the character you don't get staying at the more expensive places further away. Recommended. Crazy breakfasts though.

As part of a small group tour we were booked into this hotel by mistake. This was of some concern that turned out to be unfounded. This is a great hotel that caters mainly for Japanese tourists. It is only samll, approx. 34 rooms but is very clean with great facilities. Outside the hotel it is chaos with traffic and...

However, after 2 days in hanoi, i found out that theres a lot of hotels which offers cheaper rates (20-30 us dollars for the same amenities). Thats is when...

A large group of us recently went to Hanoi and we stayed at the Quoc Hoa. As far as Hanoi hotels go, this one is well-located in the old Quarter and reasonable at US$70/night. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and bedlinen spotless. We consider ourselves well-travelled and usually alert for scams and con artists but we forgot to be aware...

We stayed in the Quoc Hoa for 4 nights which were broken up by a trip to Halong Bay (which I'll come back to!). The first night we stayed in the cheapest room and it was fine - comfy bed and large room - but nothing to shout about. When we came back we paid for the next room up...

We were very pleased to find this hotel. We have stayed in several hotels in Hanoi and as we wanted to be in the Old Quarter we found the Quoc Hoa matched all our requirements. We stayed in two different rooms at the hotel as we left Hanoi for a weekend in the middle of our stay. We found the...

Have just returned from a 10 day tour of Vietnam and spent 3 nights at this hotel. Our stay was broken by one night away at Halong Bay so we actually stayed in 2 different rooms. The first room was fine and we really enjoyed this part of our stay. We found the hotel really convenient for all the sights...
