This is a typical tour group property and I was there on an organised tour. It was situated outside the Old Town but within easy walking distance. It is a little dated but the rooms are comfortable enough although for me a big downside is that the shower is in the bath tub and not separate. Good wifi, above average... More

Very good value for money. Nice rooms, very friendly staff, walking distance to the old town. Almost no need for a taxi if you want to visit the monuments. It was like a small oasis in the bustle of Hanoi.

Good, comfortable hotel, well maintained rooms with working air conditioners. The hotel is right next to Old Town Hanoi, walking distance from the lake and the touristy attractions. Taxi service is quick and cheap. The staff was very accommodating and spoke English quite well. The breakfast is superb with breads, fruits, several meats, and omelets made to order. There is... The hotel is clean and the rooms are a good size with a modern bathroom. The a/c works very well. My room faced the street but I did not hear any noise and was able to sleep well. The breakfast room is lovely and there is a variety of Western and Asian foods. Do avoid the "Irish" Pub next door.... More

We used this hotel as our base in Hanoi as part of a Habitat for Humanity build in a nearby community. The hotel is in great condition, is comfortable, and has a very attentive staff at every level. The breakfasts have Asian, European, and American dishes and in plentiful and good.

This is an old hotel which has been refurbished, they did a decent job in updating it. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the hectic bustle of the Old Quarter in one direction and the quiet of the Western lake in the other and situated on a reltively quiet street (by Hanoi standrds). Very helpful staff make this... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in a 'Classic' room, 6th floor at the back of the building. So while the view from the window was relatively uninspiring, it was quiet and not overlooked. The room was a good size, with a comfortable lounge area (well, 2 armchairs and a coffee table) and good bathroom. Breakfast was OK, but they... More

This Hotel was great. The staff went outvif their way to help. I was on a small group tour. I did not make time to use any of the wellness services available. Breakfasts were great. We had an enjoyable downstairs at the Irish Pub. ( did not seem that Irish....just saying) It was close in. Walking distance to where we... More

Spent in this small hotel over the week and I can recommend. The location is very good, walking distance to Old Quarter or Mauzoleum. Also not that much noisy, though there were some reconstruction works just across the street during my stay. Staff was very helpful and nice and there was no problem with communication in english. Hotel was clean,... More
